PUMA’S MOSTRO “LEATHER” PACK BRINGS DARK AND LIGHT INTO BALANCE

PUMA’s new Mostro “Leather” pack brings a minimal color execution to the maximalist, avant-garde silhouette.

Featuring a subtly pebbled leather makeup, PUMA’s fearsome Mostro sneaker comes in black and cream editions, pushing the shoe’s unmistakable details and textures to the forefront. 

Originally released in 1999, and named after the Italian word for monster, the Mostro was instantly received as a convention-defying model. Now, PUMA ushers the Mostro back into the spotlight. 

The PUMA Mostro “Leather” pack is available starting February 22, 2025, from select PUMA retailers.

PUMA’S KING INDOOR IS DRESSED IN A CLEAN WHITE COLORWAY

PUMA heralds the triumphant return of the PUMA King Indoor.

For the King Indoor’s first appearance of 2025, the shoe is rendered in an effortlessly stylish white colorway to complement an all-black version released last year. 

Continuing its forward press, the unmistakable silhouette is crowned with a premium stitched leather upper, paired with a pitch-inspired lace shroud, as well as a gum outsole. Gold accents appear throughout, including on the “King” wordmark logo that can be spotted on the upper. 

In 1996, the original PUMA King was introduced to the world of football. For years, the King dominated, gracing football’s most regal pitches, and the feet of the sport’s nobility like Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona, Pelé, and others. In 1999, the silhouette evolved, as the PUMA King Indoor touched down for the first time. In the early 2000s, the King Indoor’s comfort and timeless look allowed the style to find fandom outside of sports, as it was embraced into the era’s style codes. 

The latest PUMA King Indoor is available starting February 8, 2025, and will be available at select retailers globally.

PUMA’S “ROAD TO UNITY” COLLECTION IS AN HOMAGE TO GHANA’S VIBRANT FOOTBALL CULTURE

PUMA unveils the "Road to Unity" collection, a celebration of Ghana’s vibrant football culture and its cherished place in the global sports landscape. This partnership honors PUMA’s long-standing relationship with Ghana as the nation’s official kit sponsor, highlighting themes of unity and togetherness.

The collection features bold prints, patterns, and colors inspired by the red and gold of the Ghanaian flag, with designs created for both men and women. Key pieces include the revamped T7 tracksuit, a cropped longsleeve shirt with a jersey-inspired collar, as well as graphic tees and caps that reflect the collection’s ethos.

For footwear, the collection’s centerpiece is a special-edition Easy Rider with a striking red upper and yellow accents on the midsole.

PUMA AND HOT WHEELS™ SHIFT INTO HIGH GEAR FOR NEW COLLABORATION

Start your engines! PUMA and Hot Wheels are going for a spin.  

PUMA x Hot Wheels

The PUMA x Hot Wheels collaboration bridges PUMA’s sporting heritage with the fun and creative spirit of Mattel’s beloved collectible toy car brand. 


Created for kids, the partnership takes the unmistakable design DNA and imagery of Hot Wheels, applying it across a range of apparel and footwear, including nostalgic PUMA sneaker models from basketball and running.  

The CA Pro, RS-X, and Suede XL are tricked out with decals, accents, and track motifs. The Hot Wheels flame logo appears across each design, alongside special touches like racing-inspired gradient colorways and commemorative graphics.  

For apparel, specially created graphics are utilized on essentials like Hoodies, Shorts, and T-Shirts, with 3D silicone appliqués that elevate select designs. A PUMA x Hot Wheels logo lockup appears in combination with colorful allover prints highlighted with pops of neon. Crossing the finish line, the collection’s Backpack and Cap come accessorized with PUMA x Hot Wheels emblems and memorable details. 

The collection’s visuals are set in an immersive virtual environment; the Hot Wheels Digital Garage, a futuristic setting that showcases real cars from the Hot Wheels collection.

PUMA Hoops & LaMelo Ball Join Forces with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a Totally Tubular Takeover

PUMA Hoops is teaming up with everyone’s favorite pizza-loving, skateboarding, crime-fighting team, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to release a suite of reimagined basketball sneakers with PUMA athlete LaMelo Ball. Dropping throughout February, the collaboration will feature four limited-edition, collectible colorways from Ball’s signature line. 

PUMA Hoops & LaMelo Ball

The pack includes the MB.01 Baxter Stockman, a multi-colored iridescent sneaker inspired by the half-man, half-fly, mad scientist. The second limited-edition drop embodies Donatello & Raphael in a unique mismatched MB.04 design, followed by the MB.04 Leonardo & Michelangelo, with each Turtle represented through their distinct bandana colors. The final drop is a hot pink and purple MB.03 model, dedicated to alien supervillain, Krang.

The collection’s MB.01 Baxter Stockman and MB.03 Lo Krang feature PUMA Hoops’ signature technology. NITROFOAM found throughout the midsole offers superior responsiveness and comfort while remaining lightweight. For quick cuts and spot up jumpers, a full-coverage nonslip rubber compound provides enhanced durability and traction. And the shoe’s disruptive upper construction, made with breathable monomesh, provides a supportive yet ultra-lightweight feel. 

Boasting the same innovation as the MB.01 and MB.03 models, the MB.04 Donatello & Raphael and MB.04 Leonardo & Michelangelo styles come complete with a 5D printed upper – a multi-layered design that engulfs the shoe like alien tentacles – and a custom TMNT graphic at the heel. Additional design cues are inspired by Melo’s otherworldly DNA, including his signature phrases, “1 OF 1” and “RARE” hidden throughout the shoe, a hovering spaceship stamped on the outsole, and flames at the heel.

The MB.01 Baxter Stockman will mark the first release of the series, dropping on Saturday, February 1st followed by the MB.04 Donatello & Raphael on February 8th, the MB.04 Leonardo & Michelangelo on February 14th, and the MB.03 Lo Krang on February 22nd. Each style will be available at Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs, PUMA.com, and the PUMA Flagship store.

The PUMA Hoops x TMNT collaboration also includes an apparel collection, featuring t-shirts, shorts, a hoodie, and puffer vest.

FRENCH DESIGNER LOUIS-GABRIEL NOUCHI TAKES THE PUMA MOSTRO TO RADICAL NEW TERRITORY

PUMA officially announces a new collaboration with French independent designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi. The partnership ushers in the new PUMA x LGN Mostro Mule, which made its debut on the runway last season, during Nouchi’s SS25 presentation in Paris.

Nouchi’s modern rework takes the original 1999 silhouette and updates it for 2025, imagining the Mostro with a backless, slip-on fit and streamlined shape, complete with one of the shoe’s signature features, its distinctive spikes. The single-material rubberized construction has been rendered in two simple colorways: tonal white and black. 

Following his SS25 show, Nouchi revealed more about his unique Mostro noting, “I synthesized the essence of the iconic Mostro shoes into a radical mule design using a single material, transforming it into both a design object and a comfortable sneaker.” 

This visionary collaboration takes its inspiration from the natural strength and grace of PUMA’s namesake, the ferocious big cat. 

The PUMA Mostro was originally introduced to the world over 25 years ago, containing design references to vintage track and surfing footwear. Known today for the incomparable look that made it a street-style icon, the silhouette takes its name from the Italian word for “monster.”   

The PUMA x LGN Mostro Mule will be available in two colourways from 23 January through LGN, and from 25 January at selected retailers.

PUMA LAUNCH PROJECT3 : TURNING BOSTON & LONDON MARATHON RUNNERS INTO ELITE ATHLETES

PUMA has launched a first of its kind global running program called “Project3” that will give participants of the 2025 Boston and London Marathons the opportunity to experience life as a professional athlete, trial new race day products, and the chance to bank huge performance-based cash prizes.

  • Runners of the 2025 Boston & London Marathons will get the unique opportunity to experience life as an elite PUMA athlete and trial new race day products.
  • $3,000 cash prize to any Project3 participant who breaks their marathon PB by three minutes, and $3,000 for the fastest male and female Project3 runners.
  • Applications are open via puma-project3.com and will close Monday 27th January

Project3 will allow 100 runners participating in each race the opportunity to prepare for race day in the same way PUMA’s elite athletes do, with exclusive access to the brand’s most innovative running products that will revolutionize your race day experience.

As a Project3 participant, you will receive unprecedented access to PUMA Elite Running Team coaches, elite athletes, and PUMA innovation experts who will all provide guidance on various aspects of your training cycle to ensure you arrive at race day in one mindset: to break records.

PUMA will also offer all Project3 participants the chance to walk away with an incredible cash prize of $3,000 if they break their existing marathon PB by three minutes or more.

PUMA will also reward $3,000 to the fastest Project3 male and female finishers of each race, as well as the the male and female runners who break their marathon PB by the biggest margin out of all Project3 runners. Should one individual secure all three prizes, they could potentially be rewarded a substantial payout of $9,000.

To top it off, PUMA will also reward these six individuals with an all-expenses paid trip to a PUMA sponsored race in 2025, and kit them out for one year with PUMA Running product valued at up to $5,000.

Prospective candidates must meet the minimum criteria to be considered for selection including:

  • Holding a valid 2025 Boston or London Marathon race bib/race entry
  • Existing marathon PB of 3:10 or less
