Performance at the hightest level

Since our beginnings, Innovation at PUMA has given a competitive advantage to our athletes. If our athletes are superheroes, we are here to build the superpower for them – their super shoe or their super garment – by pushing the boundaries.

PUMA’s roster of elite athletes are regular visitors to our NITRO™ LABs. They provide athletes with detailed full-body insights through a series of tests and scans, including 4D Motion analysis. The results enable PUMA to develop bespoke and customised solutions for each athlete helping them perform at their best.

NITRO™ LAB, Germany

In March 2023, the first PUMA NITRO™ LAB opened near Frankfurt, Germany. It is a high-performance athlete testing facility developed in partnership with Hartmann Orthopedics + Sports, leaders in performance optimisation for athletes for more than 20 years.

NITRO™ Running Lab, USA

PUMA also has a NITRO™ Running Lab in Boston, USA which focuses on road running. Together, the two labs provide the most up to date and innovative research to continue to push PUMA’s performance footwear forward.
