THE CREATION OF THE ARCHIVE
Over the past 7 decades, we have made history with our legendary athletes again and again. We have often been the first brand to introduce ground-breaking innovations and we collected lots and lots of stories.
All of these stories, innovations and milestones have now been collected in our brand-new PUMA Archive. You can dive right in and find insightful anecdotes about our legendary athletes, icons, inventions and shoes or watch the first films produced by the archive.
For starters, the video "The Discovery" tells you how the archive was first set up and why Helmut Fischer, Mr. PUMA, plays such a crucial role.

NEW BEGINNINGS
In order to secure the legacy of our brand, we decided to give our archive a professional makeover using professional tools to archive and capture the entire collection. Shoes have been digitalized with a 3D scanner and stored so they can be kept for posterity. The database of digitalized shoes and footage now serves as a search tool and an instrument for digital long-term archiving.
The aim of the PUMA Archive is not only to store the shoes and textiles that embody PUMA as a brand and inspired sports and culture, but also to secure the legacy of our greatest PUMA athletes.
Take a look behind the scenes and see yourself how the PUMA Archive was built in 2018.

HISTORY SHOWCASE
Decades of sports history and innovation have been collected in our PUMA Archive. This important work, which teaches us about our roots and inspires our future, didn’t stop in 2020.
Not everyone has the chance to stop by at the archive in Herzogenaurach, which is why we also take part in international exhibitions. In 2020, it shouldn’t surprise you, it all took place under difficult conditions. Nevertheless, our exhibition list is quite a good read.

A CULTURE OF FIRSTS
During 70 years of history, PUMA has often been the first brand to introduce ground-breaking innovations in sports and fashion.
"Forever Faster" has always been in our nature, as a true sports brand and we used all of our expertise to help athletes to get to the very top. We have set trends in fashion that have left our competitors with nothing but late copies.
Come with us on a journey through time and enjoy some of the best ever moments in sports.
STORIES FROM THE PUMA ARCHIVE
In addition to the shoes, pictures or autograph cards, the Archive also features the stories that made PUMA's 70-year-history so special.
