PUMA ANNOUNCES HIGH-PERFORMANCE PARTNERSHIP WITH ASTON MARTIN ARAMCO FORMULA ONE® TEAM

Global sports company PUMA  today announced a long-term partnership with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team, focused on high performance. Renowned for its innovative athletic and lifestyle performance wear, PUMA joins Aston Martin Aramco as the Official Sportswear, Athleisure, and Technical Gear Partner, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for both brands in the 2025 Formula One® season.

The partnership will be central to Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team’s vision of delivering world-class performance on and off the track, equipping drivers and the team with high-performance racewear and footwear designed for peak functionality.

PUMA has written sports history for more than 75 years, creating iconic moments with the world’s greatest athletes including Usain Bolt, Pelé, Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Armand “Mondo” Duplantis. Speed is PUMA’s superpower, and the company has developed performance gear in motorsport since the 1980s, outfitting several Formula 1 World Champion teams and drivers since then. The company’s unique blend of sports and culture, which includes working with some of the most influential artists such as Dua Lipa and Rihanna, can also be seen in PUMA’s motorsport-inspired collections created with A$AP Rocky.

PUMA will support Aston Martin Aramco in bringing “the heat to the street” by fusing cutting-edge design with street-ready style. Exclusive collaboration capsules will feature limited-edition fanwear and trend-forward collections, inviting fans to immerse themselves in the action when it launches globally in the 2025 season.

PUMA car branding will debut on the AMR25 when it is launched ahead of the 2025 F1 season.

PUMA DIGS INTO THE ARCHIVES TO REVIVE THE KING INDOOR

In the world of football, it’s a design that requires no introduction. 

King Indoor

The PUMA King franchise was established in 1966 with the original King, a flagship performance style that has graced football’s most famous pitches, and the feet of some of the sport’s most beloved stars.  

Now PUMA reaches into its archive to reintroduce a mainstay of the King family, the 1999 PUMA King Indoor. The King Indoor’s versatility and comfort allowed the silhouette to find favor outside of sports, as a classic lifestyle shoe. 

The King Indoor transcended the world of street cages and indoor courts to become a subcultural status symbol, and then a street-style star, the shoe was adopted as the shoe of choice for individualistic youth across Europe, from the UK to Italy. It’s a shoe that means many things to many different people; your team on the local pitch, or your neighborhood crew at the club. Later, German designer Jil Sander added her own spin to the silhouette that harmonized Sander’s signature minimal-chic aesthetic with the heritage of the King, marking one of the very first fashion-sport collaborations. Production of the King Indoor was then halted in 2015. 

The unmistakable PUMA King Indoor is reissued for 2024 with a premium stitched leather upper, paired with a pitch-inspired lace shroud, as well as a gum outsole. Gold accents appear throughout, including on the “King” wordmark logo that can be spotted on the upper. 

This year’s PUMA King Indoor campaign was captured by iconic British photographer Ewen Spencer, who is known for lensing youth and subcultures. In his early career, his seminal work captured emerging UK music scenes of the early 2000s, an era when the PUMA King reigned supreme. 

The PUMA King Indoor will be making its return on November 23, 2024, and will be available at select retailers globally, including Voo Store, Bodega, Slam Jam, LN-CC, SSENSE, and Beams.

A$AP Rocky Takes Over The PUMA NYC Flagship For His Latest Footwear and Apparel Drop

Tonight, A$AP Rocky took over the PUMA NYC Flagship to debut his latest motorsport-inspired collection of PUMA footwear, apparel, and accessories.

This consumer event featured DJ performances by A$AP Rocky himself, A$AP Lou and SS4K, as well as customization stations, interactive photo moments, giveaways and more.

The night-racing and neon lights inspired collection continues to push the boundaries of footwear design with a striking new Mostro 3.D colorway, as well as a restock of his take on the Inhale Sneaker, which has been re-engineered with an allover distressed treatment and custom embroidery.

The collection is available now on PUMA.com, PUMA retail stores and select global retailers.

PUMA TEAMS UP WITH THE ICONIC FELIX THE CAT

PUMA is teaming up with Universal Products & Experiences for a collection inspired by one of the most recognizable cartoon characters, Felix the Cat.

For generations, the beloved personality of Felix the Cat has been a mainstay in the world of animation. Now Felix’s cartoon world comes to life through a limited-edition sneaker, in the form of a special PUMA Suede collaboration. 

Complete with fun, feline features, the PUMA x Felix the Cat Suede comes with textured faux-fur fabric on the upper, while Felix mischievously peeks out from the shoes’ co-branded tongue label, also appearing on the shoe’s heel. Additional PUMA x Felix the Cat accents can be found on the sole insert, as well as subtle detailing on the shoe’s eyelets. Rounding out the collaborative Suede, an extra set of fluffy laces completes the Felix theme, in addition to special packaging like a branded shoebox and graphic tissue paper. 

The PUMA x Felix the Cat Suede is available starting November 9, 2024, from PUMA.com, PUMA flagship stores, and selected PUMA stockists.

DANIELLE GUIZIO SHIFTS THE PUMA SPEEDCAT INTO HIGH GEAR

PUMA and Danielle Guizio reunite for a second Speedcat drop, featuring a timeless black and white color scheme.

Bringing her unique touch to the low-top Speedcat, envisioning the aerodynamic silhouette with premium materials and elevated touches, the independent New York City-based designer kicked off her PUMA collaboration with a friends-and-family Speedcat Mesh featuring a lime and cream colorway.  

Now, part two depicts the Speedcat in classic fashion, with a monochrome edition in smooth leather that highlights the silhouette’s racing-inspired shape. Channeling the black asphalt of an F1 racing circuit, the shoe’s stealthy design comes with a contrasting PUMA Formstrip in white. Finally, a "Guizio" tab on the upper brings a subtle touch to commemorate the partnership.  

First released in 1999, the PUMA Speedcat was conceived for the world of F1 racing. Adopted by the world of fashion and sneaker culture in the mid-2000s, the Speedcat was officially reintroduced by PUMA in June 2024.

DUTCH FOOTBALL STAR XAVI SIMONS LACES UP THE ARCHIVE-INSPIRED PUMA INHALE

Carrying the fearless attitude that defined it in the early 2000s, the PUMA Inhale returns as a refreshed lifestyle silhouette.

As part of the Cellerator family, the Inhale gained recognition for its signature CELL cushioning and performance-driven design, while its bold lines, contours, and curves earned it a cult following both on and off the track. The tendril-like lines crawling across the shoe’s upper are inspired by human biology, which is further evoked through the shoe’s moniker, and raging red Formstrip like an artery delivering lifeblood to the shoe’s upper. Notable upgrades to the 2024 Inhale include a wider fit and a softer midsole for enhanced comfort and wearability. 

In 2023, the Inhale also became a favorite of PUMA collaborator A$AP Rocky, who selected the silhouette as the footwear focus of his inaugural collection, leading to a quick sellout and widespread fan popularity. 

Matching the unmistakably youth-driven energy of the Inhale, Dutch star Xavi Simons styles the striking sneaker in its debut black-and-red color scheme. 

The PUMA Inhale will be available from November 7, 2024, at PUMA.com, flagship stores, and select stockists.

Two fearless designs, one shared DNA: PUMA introduces the Inhale, alongside the new AI-created Inverse, a bold progressive silhouette that defies the norm.

PUMA’s latest releases bring a progressive and futuristic approach to running, blending inspiration from the future while drawing from PUMA’s rich past.  

The Inhale returns as an updated lifestyle silhouette, still carrying the fearless attitude that defined it in the early 2000s. As part of the Cellerator family, it gained recognition for its signature CELL cushioning and performance-driven design, while its bold lines, contours, and curves earned it a cult following both on and off the track. First introduced in a “Jute” yellow colorway, the refreshed version now appears in a striking black-and-red scheme, with key upgrades like a wider fit and a softer midsole for enhanced comfort and wearability.

The Inverse makes its debut with a red mesh upper, complemented by dark amethyst and black accents, mirroring the Inhale’s bold aesthetic. 

With the Inhale as its foundation, the AI-powered Inverse redefines cutting-edge design while sharing the DNA of its iconic predecessor. Together, these releases mark a powerful evolution in PUMA’s lineup.

PUMA and Casper are coming together for a spooktacular partnership.

Designed for gals and ghouls of all ages, this limited-edition collection brings together PUMA’s heritage of iconic sports footwear with everyone’s favorite spirit, Casper the Friendly Ghost. Just in time for Halloween, the partnership centers around a haunted take on the classic PUMA Suede.

Special details make the PUMA x Casper the Friendly Ghost Suede ready for trick-or-treat season. Starting with a ghost-hued Suede covering the upper, the collaboration features glow-in-the-dark accents on the laces, outsole, and upper, in combination with a lenticular tongue label, and an all-over print on the sock liner. The collaboration comes with special slogans throughout, reading “No Such Thing as Ghosts?” and “It’s Getting Freaky In Here.” Finally, custom packaging is included in the form of a Casper-themed shoebox and tissue paper.

PUMA and Skepta drop their second full collection, unveiling new apparel and footwear.

This tech-luxe range fuses Skepta’s distinct style and cultural influence with PUMA’s sportswear archive. Designed for the outdoors, through Skepta’s unique lens, the latest collection features stealthy Pertex-equipped outerwear, accessories, and a fresh mid-top version of the Skope Forever sneaker.

The Skope Forever Mid showcases outdoor-inspired details, including a leather upper, rope laces, and hiking-inspired lace stays. This iteration builds on the original Skope Forever sneaker, which debuted in May 2024, bringing early-2000s design into the present with a modern edge.

The Pertex Puffer and Pertex Vest offer zipped storage and feature the collection’s exclusive PUMA x Skepta badge. Basketball phenom LaMelo Ball and PUMA Hoops are back to redefine the game with the jaw-dropping MB.04. This fourth chapter in the iconic MB signature line is a masterpiece of performance and style. Clad in a striking light blue base and reinforced with bold silver overlays, the MB.04 boasts a durable TPU structure that's as tough as Ball himself.

Get ready for a sneaker takeover! LaMelo is hitting the road to introduce his latest signature sneaker with PUMA on a high-energy North American tour, kicking off in Charlotte, the heart of Melo-mania, and making stops in Atlanta, Miami, and culminating in a grand finale in New York City. It's more than just the reveal of the MB.04, it's a celebration of LaMelo's meteoric rise and the undeniable impact he's made on the game.

The newest MB.04 design integrates LaMelo Ball’s personal branding, including the Phoenix logo and “1 1 1” motifs, creating a fierce and eye-catching appearance. This shoe seamlessly combines style and performance, making it a top choice for both basketball enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals.

“The details and Easter eggs sprinkled throughout the shoe are my favorite attributes. It was a big design challenge to make a shoe that couldn’t be mirrored left to right and still make it look cohesive,” says Jeremy Salle Head of Design for PUMA Hoops. “The inspiration was based around this idea of ‘Be Melo’. The kids love Melo and a lot of them want to be just like him. It’s basically the idea of symbiosis. The kid puts on the shoe, and they are enveloped by all of Melo’s attributes, rarities and One-of-one-ness.”

Key performance features of the MB.04 silhouette include the 4D printing technology which allows zoned out durability and enhances the shoes breathability. Stylized TPU support in the forefoot have been incorporated for added stability throughout the silhouette. Each shoe includes a distinctive heel logo that connects to its colorway and story. Compression-molded EVA foam provides superior responsiveness and cushioning while maintaining a lightweight profile, an added benefit for hoopers. Engineered mesh upper, for added comfort, and a Melo-fied external heel cap have been included for a signature touch.

But the excitement doesn't stop there. To complement the on-court dominance of the MB.04, PUMA and LaMelo are also dropping a mind-blowing new colorway of the LaFrancé 1:1. This isn't just a sneaker; it's a statement. Dipped in an eye-popping all-over baby blue hue, the LaFrancé 1:1 embodies LaMelo's one-of-a-kind style with exaggerated lines and Y2K-inspired details. 

Prepare to be blown away as LaMelo and PUMA redefine what it means to be a basketball icon and a fashion trailblazer.
