A$AP Rocky and PUMA Drop Newest Motorsport-Inspired Collection featuring Archival Inhale Sneaker

Sports company PUMA and music artist, creative, and designer A$AP Rocky have dropped their latest collection featuring footwear, apparel and accessories. A$AP Rocky’s fashion knowledge, style and cultural expertise brings a new perspective to the growing global motorsport audience. A full head-to-toe collection includes the Inhale Sneaker, originally launched in the 2000’s, which was hand picked by Rocky from the archive.

Rocky and PUMA continue to push the boundaries between fashion and sport by leveraging performance materials and functional elements with a distressed treatment that creates the effect of having been worn working in the garage all day. 

Rocky’s intention to shift how brand’s approach taking risk through design is evident in this drop.   

  • A$AP ROCKY x PUMA SWEATSUIT: Made with a slim fit to emulate the fit of a racing suit, this piece features a distressed allover print for a worn effect, custom PUMA graphics, and wide elastic ribbing at the hem.
  • A$AP ROCKY x PUMA SEATBELT T-SHIRT : Features a sublimated graphic that mimics a driver’s 6-point seatbelt. Designed in heavyweight cotton with a boxy fit, this track-meets-street piece is rounded off with PUMA and A$AP cobranding.   
  • A$AP ROCKY x PUMA KNITTED BALACLAVA: Inspired by the balaclavas worn by drivers under their helmets,  this cozy knit fabric has a distressed treatment, button snap webbing for easy on and off wear and storage, and PUMA branding at the throat.
  • A$AP ROCKY x PUMA PADDED BALACLAVA: Designed to mimic the look of a racing helmet, this A$AP ROCKY x PUMA balaclava features a padded design, a removable visor insert, and a bungee closure for an adjustable fit.
  • A$AP ROCKY x PUMA XL GLOVES: Inspired by racing gloves, this pair has an oversized fit with a heat map printed in silicone at the palm. Molded silicone print at the back of the hand mimics veins, while badges from the collection are featured on the fingertips, inspired by Rocky’s nail art.
  • A$AP ROCKY x PUMA INHALE OG: Originally created in 2000 as a running shoe, the PUMA Inhale has secured its spot as a streetwear staple with its extreme contours. Today we’re reissuing a limited release of the Inhale in its original, iconic color alongside A$AP Rocky. Limited-edition footbed inserts designed by Rocky will be distributed via gifting only.

“This Miami collection aims to give fans the chance to have their own race suit from the helmet down to the shoes,“ said A$AP Rocky. “Other sports have uniforms available for the consumer and I wanted to bring that to the F1 category. A$AP Rocky and PUMA will also be selling the collection race weekend in Miami on Saturday, May 4th at a pop-up activation with CNCPTS from 4-10PM at 2129 NW 1ST CT in Wynwood.  In addition, CNCPTS will host an exclusive in-store activation the evening of May 3rd in the Miami Design District in partnership with PUMA and A$AP Rocky.

Calling all sneakerheads! PUMA Hoops and LaMelo Ball are unveiling their first-ever lifestyle shoe for LaMelo Ball. LaFrancé, created in collaboration with LaMelo Ball, gets its inspiration and name from his official lifestyle brand specializing in designer streetwear.

The LaFrancé silhouette represents a new take on Melo – an elevated, chunky street inspired take to off-court fashion fueled by his fierce flare and energy. Inspired by the chunky silhouettes of 90s and early 2000s skate footwear, the LaFrancé, silhouette is an off-court icon.

This supersized sneaker features exaggerated proportions, a chunky zig-zag lace closure, ultra-wide laces, and a well-padded tongue for ultimate comfort. “LF” and “La France” can be found inscripted on the mega tongue as well as imprinted into the latest silhouettes ultra-thick sole.  The classic cup sole has been spiced up with floating ovals throughout, which are decorated with iconic graphics. Upper ovals on the midsole encapsulate design aspects of a butterfly, symbolizing Melo’s 1 of 1 lifestyle.

“If you know Melo, you know he does everything large. From the chain to the logos, to the car, dude’s living large! So, we had to come through with a silhouette to fit that profile. Global sports brand PUMA and WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart unveil the Stewie 3 today in Paris, France. The latest silhouette pays homage to a tapestry of influences, each contributing to the shoe’s storyline. 

For the third signature shoe with PUMA, the design is inspired by Breanna’s decorated career. The Stewie 3 Dawn features fiery hues and floral details representing both her family and journey. As a tribute to Tokyo, the cherry blossom, or Sakura, symbolizes the fleeting beauty of life and the resilience of nature. Also drawing inspiration from Rio Brazil, specifically the golden trumpet tree's exquisite floral display. The golden accents on the shoe mirror the coveted gold medal of champions.

Following previous releases, the partnership takes its inspiration from PUMA’s football heritage, and Dillane’s lifelong passion for the sport.t.

Reinterpreting PUMA’s archival silhouettes through the lens of football, the fashion-forward, PUMA x KidSuper Sports Club collection brings pastel colorways and modern aesthetics into the form and function of sportswear, plus updated versions of the Velophasis and Palermo sneakers.

Featuring several matching sets, the distinctive range is elevated with garment dyeing, graphic jacquard knits, graphics inspired by the PUMA King, and patterned motifs created by KidSuper for PUMA.

A unique cast of characters comes together for the campaign, which depicts Dillane as the patriarch of the PUMA x KidSuper family. Inspired by the classic mobster films of the ‘90s, the visuals portray the artistic collection, focusing on the matching tracksuits.
