Sports company PUMA has today invited the world to join the Faster Football movement with the unveiling of the next generation ULTRA 1.3. For the first time, PUMA will offer both a Unisex and Women-specific fit for its trailblazing new speed boot. The launch marks a huge step for PUMA and the football world as PUMA shows its commitment to pushing the game forward and further supporting Women’s football.

The aim is to speed up the game with innovative products, hero PUMA’s leaders, support young players and break down barriers.

The ULTRA 1.3 has been crafted to See Them Later, designed to light up the game with explosive straight-line speed. To be worn by some of the world’s best players, including Antoine Griezmann, Kingsley Coman, Sergio Agüero, Nikita Parris and Eugénie Le Sommer, the UTLRA 1.3 is engineered to deliver the game’s fastest football boot.

Both ULTRA editions feature a re-engineered lightweight MATRYXEVO woven upper featuring technical Carbon yarns and transparent Mono yarns. The new upper combines with a brand new SPEEDCAGE to create multilayered support for rapid movement. The upper features cut-out transparent windows in the mid foot to further reduce weight making the ULTRA 1.3 even lighter than the ULTRA 1.2.

Additional upgrades to the ULTRA include a GripControl Pro skin that now coats the entire upper – providing a texture for decisive command over the ball. The ULTRA Unisex features an ultra-fast lightweight PEBA SpeedUnit outsole infused with running spike DNA for lightning-fast acceleration and the Women-specific ULTRA features a customized PEBA soleplate with conical studs.

With a mission to drive the game forward, PUMA has developed the new ULTRA 1.3 with two bespoke performance fits that tailor to different foot shapes based on research, data and player feedback.

Research into the anatomy of the male and female foot, combined with cross comparison fit testing, formed the basis to develop our Women-specific ULTRA said Lilly Cocks, Senior Developer Teamsport Footwear. The Women’s-edition features a regular to narrow silhouette shape, a lower instep, reduced midfoot volume and conical studs. By removing more volume from the upper we have created a boot that is more tailored to the anatomical shape of the female foot.”

In 1978 the BMW M1 opened a new chapter of racing and sportscars. State of the art performance paired with the finest technology of engineering generated the fastest licensed streetcar for this period of time. Just one year afterwards the BMW M1 Procar Series was born. PUMA ENHANCES ENGAGEMENT IN FEMALE RACING BY ANNOUNCING PUMA W SERIES TEAM

Global sports company PUMA jumps in the fastlane of women’s racing by announcing the PUMA W Series Team. The race team will consist of five different drivers with a signature livery influenced by the colors of PUMA´s women’s platform,“She Moves Us.”

W Series, the international single seater championship for female drivers only, is finalising plans to move to a team-based championship from 2022 and beyond, fulfilling a key development strategy planned since inception. The teams’ structure for this year will start with the allocation of two drivers from the existing W Series stable to each of the new team partners. Additionally, it allows sponsorship of those teams by third parties through naming, car livery, team overalls and so on.

PUMA has been part of W Series as official race gear supplier since 2019 and jumped at the opportunity to be part of the new concept W Series is establishing. „The partnership with W Series is thriving. Already ahead of this season´s testing PUMA has designed - for the very first time - tailormade race suits for female drivers to ensure a perfect fit. A delicious new collaboration between PUMA and HARIBO brings to life a collection of footwear and apparel. For over 100 years, HARIBO has been celebrated worldwide for their delicious fruit gummies and licorice – and the debut of PUMA x HARIBO celebrates that tasty tradition.

For this collaboration the PUMA team explored the happy world of HARIBO, taking inspiration from the classic HARIBO Goldbears and the original HARIBO packaging, and infusing those to some of PUMA’s classic silhouettes. Collection pieces are playful and candy-colored, with authentic cobranding and streetwise design details.

The collection, will be released worldwide in different drops throughout 2021, these include:

The Suede Triplex comes in a full suede upper in yellow with a triple formstrip in white with a TPU translucent top layer. This version includes the HARIBO slogan, “The Happy World of Haribo,” printed on the midsole. The shoe also features a Goldbears graphic print on the FOT, silicon print branding on the tongue, and an extra set of laces.

The Suede Wn’s Mix comes in a suede material in yellow with yellow printed bears in an all over print on the lateral side and a different color on the medial side. Design details include a HARIBO Goldbears graphic on the FOT, two sets of laces, and a semi-translucent rubber sole with a graphic print on the outsole. The third apparel drop continues with additional selections of tees and shorts, joined by hoodies, T7 track top and pants, again adorned with co-branded graphics.

Sports company PUMA has today launched the Influence Pack, a collection featuring four individual football jerseys each inspired by a special city and its football culture. PUMA has partnered with COPA90, nss sports, SEASON zine and SHUKYU magazine to create jerseys crafted from the cultures of London, New York, Naples and Tokyo.

COPA90 is inspired by New York’s soccer culture. A scene that started as a counterculture movement, defying age-old traditions, a product of New York’s history of hustling and change. Just like the city itself, the soccer pitches draw together people from different backgrounds, allowing them to forge their own traditions.

In collaboration with COPA90, PUMA has designed a special jersey inspired by the great city of New York. The famous five boroughs are a focal point of the design, along with the iconic bridges that connect them.

The black jersey with gold trim features all over graphics of famous places, buildings and soccer pitches located in the city. The crest features a comic version of the iconic Statue of Liberty, while the number five is displayed on the front and the back of the jersey, paying tribute to the five boroughs of New York. Written in gold, the COPA90 logo is displayed across the jersey’s neckline.

Born in 2012, nss magazine has become the reference point for street culture, sneakers and fashion communities and enthusiasts all over Europe. nss sports is a branch of nss magazine who are dedicated to football and sportswear culture.

In partnership with nss, PUMA has designed a truly unique jersey influenced by the city of Naples, the birthplace of nss magazine. The jersey also features a special tribute to the city’s brotherhood with Kagoshima, with reference to both cities and their volcanoes: Mount Vesuvius and Mount Sakurajima.

The slick grey jersey features a custom volcano crest, with the nss logo displayed across the front of the jersey in place of the sponsor logo. The all over flame graphic representing the fire from the volcanoes takes inspiration from old Japanese football jerseys. The neckline integrates the names and coordinates of both volcanoes.

SEASON zine is a London-based trailblazing football and fashion platform founded in 2016 to counter the male, pale and sometimes stale state of modern football culture. Across print issues with original football stickers, events, newsletters, and more, the magazine empowers women and marginalized communities on and far beyond the pitch.

PUMA and SEASON zine have partnered to create a refreshing pastel jersey that reflects the platform’s journey.  If you’re from London or you’ve visited London, you’ve almost certainly travelled by tube. The bespoke all-over graphic pays homage to the well-known retro patterns taken from the seats found on London’s public transport network in powder lilac and white, with a tech twist on the London tube map overlaid on top in vivid mint. SHUKYU is a football culture magazine based in Tokyo. The magazine focuses on players, clubs, supporters, fashion, art and the culture that exists beyond the beautiful game.

The striking green jersey draws inspiration from the city of Tokyo and the traditional Japanese event ‘Kemari’, a form of historical football. The Kemari festival takes place each year and is a platform for players to show their talents.

For this special jersey the cherry blossom motif has been used in an all over graphic inspired by the design of typical ‘Kimono’ costumes. THE DREAMER 2: PUMA RELEASES J. COLE’S SECOND SIGNATURE BASKETBALL SNEAKER

Global sports company PUMA has announced the launch of J. Cole’s second signature basketball sneaker, the DREAMER 2. The new silhouette is the latest addition to the DREAMER franchise, which successfully debuted with the original RS-Dreamer last year.

The DREAMER 2 “January 28” is named after J. Cole’s classic song from his popular album “2014 Forrest Hills Drive,” which shares his birthday and the launch date for DREAMER 2.

This announcement comes as music fans impatiently await “The Off-Season” and other imminent music releases from Cole in 2021.The inspiration behind DREAMER 2 is that athletes and dreamers can achieve their highest potential and desires, from the kid fighting to make their team with hopes to be the next rising star, to the aging veteran who’s told their time has passed. Dreamers have the power to move the world forward.
To mark the launch of DREAMER 2, J. Cole brought it back to where his earliest dreams and fantasies began, with a re-imaged photo of the “2014 Forest Hills Drive” album cover. In the photo, Cole is sitting on his childhood rooftop in the same iconic fashion as the famous life-changing album cover, but this time he is showcasing his own signature shoe on his feet and is no longer looking off into the distance for his own dreams and aspirations, but instead looking straight on as if to say, “I did it, now it’s your turn.”

PUMA RS Dreamer

This second signature basketball sneaker is a mid-silhouette intended to be worn on and off the court. It’s equipped with the latest RS technology allowing athletes to perform at the highest level while also boasting a bold and slick fashion-forward design.

It encompasses key elements that have defined the RS-0, RS-100 and RS-X and brings them to the court in a totally new design. The sneakers also feature PUMA’s signature ProFoam throughout the midsole which allows for rebound and energy return while the full coverage rubber outsole is enhanced for optimal durability and traction.

The DREAMER 2 will be available at the PUMA NYC Flagship Store, on PUMA.com, FootLocker.com and online and in store at Foot Looker Inc. Family of Brands (including Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs, Footaction and Eastbay) and select retailers worldwide, starting January 28.
