PUMA’S SLIPSTREAM BBALL ARRIVES IN PARIS ALONGSIDE LAMELO BALL

Last night PUMA and Lamelo Ball hosted anexclusive bash to welcome the Slipstream BBall.

The experiential fête brought over 400 attendees to a curated space inspired by the hardwood,and a celebration of the crossroads between sports and culture. Here’s a look into our special FOREVER. SLIPSTREAM. event.

Upon arrival, guests had the opportunity to walk in the shoes of a basketball star, with a tunnel entrance into the event’s main space, complete with the flashing lights of paparazzi. As they styled and rocked the Slipstream BBall in their own way, guests also received their own tunnel walk photos captured by Jérémie Masuka, a photographer who has used his lens to capture the intersection of sport and fashion.

Flipping the world of basketball upside down, literally, the immersive interior featured courtinspired details from floor to ceiling, all created by renowned French firm Trajectoire Studio.

Between beverages and hors d'oeuvres, sneakerheads had the opportunity to feast their eyes on a museum of Slipstream history, featuring rare and vintage pairs borrowed from the PUMA Archive in Herzogenaurach.

To cap off the day, Melo and friends were joined by global freestyle champion Brisco (@brisco_s3) for a world-class exhibition of skill, while select partygoers had the chance to go 1-vs-1 with Brisco, as Melo acted as special guest judge from the sidelines.

Global sports company PUMA has today launched the 2023/24 Borussia Dortmund Home kit, the result of a fan design contest aimed at showing appreciation for the most passionate football fans across the globe.

Garnering more than 15,000 submissions worldwide, a panel led by team captain Marco Reus and Club legend Dedê narrowed down the options to nine exceptional designs, with the final design chosen through a public vote.

Embodying BVB pride, the jersey showcases a striking silhouette of the Club's cherished home, SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, in the classic black and yellow colours.

" We're proud to offer our fans the chance to design the Club's kit for the 23/24 season and involve them in this process. PUMA AND 8ENJAMIN LINK UP FOR A SKATEINSPIRED COLLECTION OF PLAYFUL PASTELS

Meet Fluzz, the main character of a brand new collaboration between PUMA and 8enjamin.

A fun interplay between 8enjamin’s vibrant color palette and nostalgic skateboarding aesthetics, Fluzz is an all-city, sneaker-loving pastel cloud that serves as the main character for a new collection of apparel and footwear.

An artist and designer, as well as an in-house member of the PUMA design team, 8enjamin’s work is an expression of color, action, and positivity. Defined by relaxed fits, psychedelic prints, and skate-inspired details, the collection features apparel including graphic-adorned hoodies and T-shirts bearing the image of Fluzz. 8enjamin has also created a bubbly rendition of the PUMA wordmark, which is used on select pieces throughout. The collaboration’s mesh shorts boast an allover kaleidoscopic pattern in two color options: vibrant orange, purple, and green, plus a monochromatic take as well.

For footwear, 8enjamin’s Fluzz character informs the Suede and Slipstream sneakers. An homage to some of the artist’s favorite sneakers, and models he has loved wearing himself, the Suede is reimagined with a light pink upper, overstated fluffy laces, and a custom Fluzz hangtag. The Slipstream features a tonal white colorway with pops of purple and pink throughout, also featuring fluffy laces. PUMA recalls its performance roots to inform a collection of footwear and apparel that embodies retro track-and-field aesthetics. This new expression of sports style from the brand’s long history is brought to life to commemorate PUMA’s 75th anniversary.

The Track Meet range features archive-inspired apparel and graphics, elevated details, and retro branding – all conveyed through contemporary shapes, silhouettes, and quality.

At the core of the collection is a dream team of footwear silhouettes, including the RX 737, RS-X EFEKT, Clyde, and Prevail. Each locked with a cream-colored base, the four styles are punctuated with colorful hits in blue, red, and yellow, with rich accents throughout. These four styles are lofted up with details like terry towel linings, aged suede, metal eyelets to evoke vintage track spikes, and a race-bib number emblazoned on the tongue that acknowledges the year of PUMA’s founding, 1948.

Throwback patterns and color palettes define the relay-ready apparel, which consists of matching sets like tracksuits and athletic essentials. Special PUMA Track Club graphics are utilized on selected pieces throughout, including T-shirts and hoodies.

PUMA AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR JUNE AMBROSE LAUNCH THEIR FIRST CO-BRANDED COLLECTION, KEEPING SCORE, CELEBRATING WOMEN AND THEIR WINS

PUMA and Creative Director June Ambrose will be releasing their first co-branded collaboration, “Keeping Score” on January 26, 2023. This new collection is a celebration of Ambrose’s career and impact within hip hop and fashion, exploring the idea of reflection, and encouraging women to keep score of their wins.

As culture shifts, women on and off the court continue to become more aware of their power, as individuals and in numbers. Since joining the sportswear brand in 2020 as the Creative Director for the Women’s Basketball category, June’s mission has continuously been focused on highlighting and empowering women, knowing life is a team sport and together we play to win.

The 20-piece apparel, footwear and accessories collection will launch in two parts. The first drop, available starting January 26 will consist of ten pieces in a rich burgundy and blue colorway. Staying true to the prioritization of merging fashion and function, and drawing inspiration from the early days of her career, the initial product release includes reversible shorts and beanies, a removable mesh jersey sports bra, a balaclava, colorblock leggings, and an oversized hoodie. Standout pieces include the Hood Hall of Famer tee and the breakaway maxi to midi skirt. The tee also boasts the phrase, “Calling All Shots,” embracing the notion of feeling powerful when wearing the pieces. The transformative skirt lends itself to the versatility of styling within the collection. PUMA’S PLEXUS SNEAKER BREAKS BOUNDARIES WITH NEW DESIGN LANGUAGE

Today, PUMA introduces the PUMA Plexus sneaker, a new interpretation of the line between sport and style.

Informed by the overarching concept of the future classic, PUMA’s new Plexus sneaker establishes a new and progressive design language, inspired by a seminal model from PUMA’s archive, the Mostro.

“Given the initial design direction of creating a “future classic,” I tried to position our archival PUMA Mostro as a new classic for the future,” mentioned Hyon Park, Lead Designer Sportstyle Footwear, PUMA.

Breaking boldly into 2023, the Plexus surges ahead with innovative and explorative features. The Plexus’ upper is defined by a crafted aesthetic. Mixed textiles, juxtaposing colors, and uncovered construction elements give the shoe a handmade feel. The Plexus also features a distinctive closure, with a unique lace construction.

PUMA’s iconic Formstrip logo is indicated by rope laces woven through the upper of the Plexus, while the aggressive lines of the shoe’s tooling establish an unmistakable outdoor-ready attitude.

Lastly, the Plexus is set to launch in a striking “Elektro Green” color scheme, with additional colorways coming in 2023.

PUMA Ambassador and Italian Olympic and European Champion Gianmarco Tamberi shares his motivation and goals in PUMA’s “Only See Great” campaign

Six years after his first gold medal, Tamberi takes back the European title and speaks about his motivation to keep performing at the highest level in a video interview with sports company PUMA.

With the ‘Only See Great’ campaign, PUMA explores the career path of its brand ambassadors, as they talk about their own paths to greatness, listening to their hearts, and finding a vision that no one else can see.

In the interview, Gianmarco talks about his very first successes and extraordinary performance at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

“That feeling that I had that day, that happiness I couldn’t even imagine that could exist. It’s something that was coming out of my body. My heart was exploding."

Tamberi really showed what the Olympic spirit is about when sharing first place. For him it felt just natural. “If both can go back with the happiness? With the proudness of what they have done. It’s much better. We didn’t even think one moment that it would have been different the end, so I will never regret that decision. We will remember it forever and I’m sure we will not be the only two people remembering it.”

The idea for PUMA’s “Only See Great” campaign was inspired by cultural icon, entrepreneur and philanthropist Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter who first said: “I only see great. I don’t see good. I don’t see compromise. We should always strive to make something great, something that will last.”
