Named "Faster. Monza", this event pushes the limits of both Formula 1 and fitness, welcoming over 200 participants to savor the thrill of racing on the renowned Formula 1 circuit - an experience that goes beyond mere running.
Participants from across Italy went head-to-head on the 5.79km track – cheered on by Italian sprinter and PUMA ambassador Edoardo Scotti – with both men’s and women’s races ending in thrilling sprint finishes.
Andrea Soffientini, 34 and Lotte van Leeuwen, 26 proved they were Forever Faster, taking home first place medals, and winning tickets to the 2023 Italian Grand Prix.
“I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to participate in this event. As a huge Formula 1 fan I can say that today has been a very special day. I hope that I’ll get the chance to do it again,” said Andrea.
Lotte added: “We are incredibly lucky to be here and take part in what has been such a memorable experience. Running can bring so much joy to people and to them I say: run fast, but most importantly, run happy. And we certainly did that today!”
Built in 1922, Monza is known worldwide to motorsport fans as the “Temple of Speed,” and has played host to some of the most iconic moments in Grand Prix racing history.
