Your mission

We have significant ambitions for E-commerce growth (Web/App + Marketplace) in the coming years. A key enabler of this growth is a shift towards a global-led operating model, under which the Global E-commerce Commercial team will take the lead in driving the Global E-commerce strategy and overseeing the commercial performance of our markets.

This Global E-commerce Commercial team will be led by the VP Global E-commerce, supported by Global functional leaders (e.g. performance marketing, content) and Global Hub leaders (Americas, EMEA, APAC) who will drive the definition and support the implementation of our global Ecom strategy and business goals as well as lead all globally relevant growth initiatives.

We are looking for a Director Global E-commerce Commercial Excellence who will act as the driver of quality, scale and speed for our global / regional initiatives by acting as a global control tower.

  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with senior Global E-commerce Leaders (VP Global E-commerce, Global E-commerce Hub Leaders) to facilitate the definition of global ecommerce commercial strategy and priorities
  • Ensure overall alignment on strategy, priority and projects with all other key functions and business leaders within E-commerce Global Commercial team
  • Collaborate closely with VP and senior Global E-commerce Leaders to identify high value strategic growth projects, develop business cases for investment, and programme manage their development with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with finance, Global E-commerce Leaders, and regional teams to monitor and report on commercial performance (including preparation for MBRs)
  • Drive annual budget & financial planning process for E-commerce including alignment across global & local (Budget / FC)​
  • Establish and manage meeting and comms cadence across global and local commercial ecommerce teams
  • Document global commercial guidance/guardrails and monitor market adherence
  • Prepare and present strategy and update decks for senior audiences, including the board
  • Oversee a strategic procurement function to ensure our vendor spending is high impact and high value
  • Oversee a Global Commercial Innovation Lead, responsible for ensuring our innovation investments high impact and high value
  • Coordinate a team of global commercial leads/strategists and project managers (note: these leads/PMs will report directly to Global Hub Leaders, but with dotted line to our Global E-commerce Commercial Excellence who will coordinate and align efforts).

Your talent

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience in a Consulting, Corporate Strategy or similar role, within the sporting goods, fashion or FMCG industry
  • Deep understanding of market trends, opportunities, and challenges within the E-Commerce sector globally
  • Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills

Your mission

  • Develop and implement Transactional business processes to service PUMA’s wholesale, retail, and eCommerce channels with focus on Warehouse Management Systems processes

  • Analyze, improve, redesign business processes, and manage their implementation in the SAP S/4 HANA Fashion solution

  • Drive the roll-out of the SAP S/4 HANA Fashion solution to PUMA subsidiaries

    • Master Data: Article master synchronization and inventory alignment.

    • Outbound Flow: Delivery creation, picking requests, and the critical Shipment Confirmation loop.

    • Inbound Flow: Purchase Order staging, Inbound Delivery notifications, and Goods Receipt postings.

  • Lead Mapping Workshops: Facilitate deep-dive sessions with WMS counterparts to align on field-level logic, segments, and qualifiers

  • End-to-End TestingLead the Smoke tests, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and Hypercare for warehouse go-lives, ensuring the interfaces are working correctly

  • Cutover Planning & Execution: Own the Cutover Planning & Execution for the warehouse stream. This includes:

    • Defining the activities during the "Blackout Period" and ramp-down/ramp-up schedules for warehouse operations.

    • Orchestrating the "Trial Cutover" to validate that all interfaces are working fine in the production environment.

  • Template Governance: Maintain the Puma EBP Template, ensuring warehouse integrations are standardized yet scalable.

Your talent

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP Logistics, with a heavy focus on S/4HANA (SD, MM, and LE modules)

  • Proven track record of delivering at least 2–3 full-lifecycle end-to-end WMS-to-ERP integration projects (ideally involving global templates or large-scale distribution centers)

  • Deep operational understanding of Inbound and Outbound warehouse business processes (e.g., wave picking, cross-docking, returns processing, inventory reconciliation)

  • Previous experience within fashion, retail, or consumer goods industry is a plus.

Technical & Integration Expertise

  • Mastery of EDI/IDoc Structures: Profound knowledge of message types relevant to warehouse operations (e.g., ARTMAS for Article Master, DESADV/SHPORD for Outbound Deliveries, SHPCON/WHSCON for Confirmations)

  • Data Mapping Ownership: Demonstrated experience organizing and leading mapping workshops with 3rd-party WMS providers or external logic vendors, translating business requirements into precise field-level mapping specs (XML, JSON, IDoc segments)

  • Cutover & Migration Management: Experience leading technical and operational cutovers, including defining blackout procedures, executing trial cutovers, and managing initial stock uploads (using LTMC, LSMW, or migration cockpits).

Core Competencies & Soft Skills

  • Technical Translation: Ability to translate complex corporate SAP template rules into actionable requirements for local warehouse IT teams

  • Fluent English is mandatory (Puma’s corporate language); German or other regional languages are a strong asset for local warehouse rollouts.

Your mission

  • Support the development of bottom unit components by contributing to CAD updates, 2D drawings, and tech pack data
