Your mission

As Heaf of Intelligent Automation, you will lead a team of automation experts to design, implement, and scale intelligent automation solutions across the organization. Your mission

  • Jointly responsible with the Buyer to build seasonal product range for delivering maximum sales, margin, and profit to the business

  • Accountable for seasonal buy budgets, WSSI/OTB management, GM management, markdown management and inventory management

  • Responsible to deliver seasonal range plans including top-down merchandise and financial planning, option count planning and bottom-up product forecasting

  • Ensuring pre-season/in-season plans and targets are balanced to match space and supports store budgeted plans (sales, margin, density and inventory)

  • Liaise with Teamhead and Director Merchandising to develop financial plans and targets across product categories and stores

  • Reforecast weekly to manage inventory, intake, sales and profit forecast, and to manage OTB level. Communicate all revised targets to Buyer and Team Head and Head of Retail Merchandising. Create action plan to manage opportunities and risks, ensure implementation of actions

  • Responsible to forecast and implement weekly trading action, eg. Promotions, ISPRs, End-of-season sales etc.

Your talent

  • 5+ years of work experience in Retail Merchandise Planning/Business Planning/Demand Planning/Sales Planning preferably in E-Commerce.

  • Deep understanding of seasonal merchandise planning and buying cycles, and E-Commerce processes across different functions.

  • Solid understanding of ecommerce platform business models e.g Zalando, Amazon, AboutYou, Otto, Ebay.   

  • Excellent knowledge in managing merchandise planning KPIs. 

  • Excellent knowledge in Excel is a must, knowledge in SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.

  • Strong self-organization and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced and matrix organization.

Your mission

In close alignment with the CBO, orchestrate the definition of PUMA’s future brand strategy: 

  • Translate the company’s overarching vision into a brand strategy that wins consumers, strengthens brand equity and accelerates profitable growth  

  • Develop and introduce a brand-related insights hub to inspire and accelerate strategic decision-making that reignites brand momentum (“think tank”)  

  • In close alignment with the global brand leadership, facilitate the development of the future global brand positioning, architecture, frameworks, priorities and actionable execution plans / toolkits  

 

Lead by example to demonstrate execution of brand strategy:  

  • Identify and manage selected cross-category / cross-functional projects that demonstrate how the brand strategy should be execute across categories / markets  

  • Closely collaborate with the global brand functions that are responsible to ensure that the brand strategy is executed alongside the entire brand calendar and across all categories / markets  

  • Collect bottom-up feedback resulting from strategy execution and provide required strategic guidance / adjustment of future strategic direction  

 

Oversee CBO head office as tactical support:  

  • Act as a senior sparring partner to the CBO by orchestrating priorities, developing and tracking execution of initiatives and targets, managing operational rhythms, developing impactful communications and handling ad-hoc or high-priority requests  

  • Be the drumbeat of the CBO to plan, prepare and support key stakeholders, meetings / milestones and initiatives  

  • Lead as “connector” of the Management Board area by effectively driving cross-functional / cross-category collaboration and communication  

 

Stakeholder Communication & Management:  

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders from C-level to peers and operational colleagues across the organization to ensure their needs are met and questions are answered  

  • Present commercial strategies and frameworks to various internal parties to drive for high alignment and strategic clarity  

  • Drive strong alignment and collaboration with Global Commercial organization, particularly Commercial Strategy, ensuring frequent information sharing  

 

Team Management:  

  • Build and manage high-performing global commercial strategy team that fosters a results-driven and collaborative culture

  • Drive a reliability-first mindset across engineering, embedding SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and resilience-by-design
  • Ensure D2C platforms are engineered to handle peak events (campaigns, drops, seasonal peaks) with minimal risk and rapid recovery
  • Lead incident management, major incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews with a strong focus on learning and prevention
  • Continuously improve platform observability, monitoring, alerting, and performance management.

Cloud, Infrastructure & Environment Operations

  • Own the operational model for cloud infrastructure, environments, and platform services (prod, non-prod, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Partner with Architecture, Engineering and Platform teams to ensure infrastructure and platform choices support reliability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Drive infrastructure automation, scalability, and standardization across global D2C platforms
  • Balance performance, availability, and cost through strong FinOps practices.

Operational Excellence & Engineering Enablement

  • Build and lead global SRE and Operations teams, setting clear roles, ways of working, and on-call models
