Your Talent

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sports Management or similar
  • 1-3 work experiences in Sporting Good Industry preferably in Licensed Apparel (global function)
  • Passion for Football and good understanding of player/club product requirements
  • Very good verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English, additional language is a plus
  • Distinctive analytical skills

  • This position is limited to 18 months.

Your Mission

  • Analyze product, consumer and competitive trends in the market in regards to licensed sports marketing assets
  • Develop forecasts and sales analysis for specific contracted sports marketing assets
  • Develop collection and "go-to-market" strategies for specific licensed product lines of contracted sports marketing assets
  • Create detailed product and product marketing briefings for assigned sports marketing assets each season
  • Manage the licensed product creation process, including the gathering of input from countries
  • Utilize market knowledge to provide clear product direction and briefing of select sports marketing assets to Design
  • Cooperate with design and development teams to ensure that final licensed collection reaches market needs
  • Carry out briefings to develop product marketing tools (including packaging, on product assets etc.)
  • Present strategy and product lines for the relevant strategic club(s), international partners and key accounts
  • Prepare the Retail/Wholesale support of order windows
  • Plan prototype/sample requirements
  • Coordinate product lines and required price positioning as well as control final Free on Board (FOB) prices considering target margins
  • Participate in developing and execution of Teamsport Business Unit strategies for licensed sports marketing assets and in general
  • Drive and co-ordinate information between PUMA International and Regions concerning licensed product.

Your Talent

  • At least 5 years of international product management experience in the sports industry; experience in a Go-To-Market function (Merchandising, Sales) desirable
  • Very good knowledge and passion for Football market, consumer trends, the fashion/lifestyle market and retail environment
  • Very strong technical Apparel/Equipment knowledge and product knowhow
  • Very strong analytical skills and business orientation
  • Confident teamplayer with strong initiative and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German. More languages are a plus
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sports Management or similar education
  • This opportunity will be available in full time or part time.

Your Mission

  • Independently developing conceptual assortment plans (CAP) on product line and price basis considering specified company and Business Unit targets as well as Merchandising plans (MPL)
  • Manage the product lines through a process of line planning, internal design and development meetings until prototype approvals and launching the lines at the international meeting
  • Cooperating with Merchandising, Design and Development (PUMA Group Sourcing) to ensure that the final collection is reflecting  market needs
  • Driving the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market (gtm) calendar
  • Presenting product strategy and product lines to international partner as well as key accounts
  • Constantly challenges the product costing and how costing affects the product quality, margin & net sales from design to phase to production release
  • Ensure a correct and punctual input and maintenance of the PAC system for all assigned product lines and all required information.
  • Present strategy and product lines to the relevant strategic clubs and international teams in cooperation with Sports Licensing.
