Your mission

  • Learn the entire creative design process from first sketch to final product

  • Contribute & collaborate on global projects and support with launching new apparel ideas

  • Under the direction of the design team, collect market intelligence, providing the team with accurate and up-to-date information on trends and developments

  • Generate and present strong product stories, designs, and mood boards

  • Assist the Design team in the creation of product sketches, tech packs, design presentations & materials

  • Support the Design team on general housekeeping tasks, such as drawings, data management and database upkeep.

About the Role

We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern who understands and appreciates PUMA’s bold, performance-driven and street-inspired design language. This role is ideal for someone who can translate brand identity into compelling visuals across multiple consumer touch points static and motion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and adapt creatives for:

Your mission

The role will contribute to creating designs and support the Running/Training/Studio apparel design team. Designing apparel concepts and products that meet Puma’s global performance brand and quality standards.

  • Work closely with the apparel design team, product development, and PLM team to develop four seasonal and carryover apparel ranges per year.

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of artwork pages, CADS, and tech packages based on design time and action calendar.

  • Partner with Developers and World Cat sourcing offices to implement a clear understanding of product design, fit, and function.  Develop thorough understanding of the capabilities, flexibility, and limitations of source base.   

  • Create and execute apparel products that meet cost and margin and brief requirements. 

  • Drive desirability, innovation, and inspiration to create the next ICON products.

  • Ensure that all products follow Puma international design, brand, and quality standards.

  • Partner with Running Footwear team to assure seasonal color, trend, performance, and graphic alignment.

  • Conduct market research for competitor, best practices, consumer, and price studies, and most importantly trend research.

  • Be accountable for the organization and preparation of key meeting tools.

  • Ensure aligned apparel and graphic design concept and product presentations in front of small and large groups.

  • Strong presenter in person and via video.

  • Ability to professionally have productive discussions during product feedback sessions.

  • Communicates and participates professionally and effectively within a cross functional team.

  • Approximate Travel Required when applicable:  10-15%

Your talent

  • BS/BA or BFA degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years as an Apparel Designer, Apprentice or Assistant, preferably for a performance apparel company.
  • Knowledge of the Sports performance and/or Sport lifestyle market (Competition, Distribution, Price, Product, Consumer, Retail environment)
  • Strong line merchandising abilities / building well rounded and balanced collections.

Your mission

  • Oversee the design execution for Special Make Up products for RCC APAC Apparel with great focus on storytelling, color & material concepts and commercial iterations

We are currently looking for a Copywriter Temp to work out of our Somerville office. The Copywriter Temp will be a part of the Creative Services Team, which is responsible for creative content that expresses PUMA’s brand vision and inspires purchase of PUMA products.

The Copywriter Temp will be responsible for copy creation for PUMA North America and some PUMA Global campaigns. This includes but is not limited to headlines, email, app, sale, and instore copy. This role requires exceptional writing skills, resourcefulness, and an ability to translate technical product information into clear, engaging copy.

  • Write a wide variety of marketing copy that will be applied to ecommerce, retail, social, print, and other marketing applications.

  • Compose a high-volume of quality copy against tight deadlines.

  • Support the Creative Services Team as a brand voice expert to review, copyedit, and approve creative materials.

Your talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism and/or relevant field of study.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to balance creative vision with practical needs such as budget, function, and program requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, especially for print production (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).

  • Experience using Figma for digital design collaboration.

  • Exposure to generative AI tools for ideation and image creation.

  • Basic skills in motion design (After Effects, Premiere, etc.).

Your mission

We are currently looking for an Art Director to work for Creative Services, PUMA’s Internal Creative Agency, out of our Boston Office. We are looking for someone who is focused on visual storytelling with a strong aesthetic sense for art direction, video, and digital content. The candidate should be culturally connected and passionate, with a genuine knowledge and passion for arts, culture, streetwear and fashion. We’re seeking someone who is innovative, collaborative, and ambitious – someone who genuinely wants to design cool stuff for our brand.

  • Collaborate with the Associate Creative Director, Planners, Content Creators, and Business Units in the conception of both high- and low-production campaigns

  • Work across all marketing channels to execute ideas that deliver on full funnel creative directions developed by Creative Services including assets for PR, Social, Paid Media, Ecomm, In-Store, etc.

  • Be a leading voice in both Creative Services and cross-departmental brainstorming sessions

  • Work with the Creative Services senior management to review and align with briefs for marketing campaigns and other communications initiatives

  • Lead creative productions by identifying and briefing external partners including photographers, illustrators, animators, production companies, independent content creators

  • Work with Creative Services leadership and producers to plan and execute photoshoots, and other types of productions, including liaising with external creative partners

  • Guide external partners in the development of creative concepts and productions

  • Oversee the development of clear, in-depth creative guidelines to aid in regional execution of global concepts

  • Provide feedback to production designers on ecommerce designs and other final assets

  • Work with Creative Services leadership to guide and oversee the post-production asset selection and retouching process

  • Act as a leader within Creative Services, while leading and developing junior members of the Creative Services team

Your talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or relevant field of study

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience is required

  • Digitally focused, with versatile creative suite skills including a high proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and Acrobat on Mac

  • A demonstrated ability to create proof of concepts for still photography and moving imagery such as gifs and video content

  • Top notch design skills and a working knowledge of digital design

  • Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation including: concept ideation, design development, and pre- and post- production

  • Thorough understanding of creative process, color theory and typography as well as interactive, digital design and video storytelling

  • Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to effectively work with senior management to brainstorm, design and strategize the fulfillment of marketing executions

  • Extensive experience directing and overseeing both studio and location photo shoots under aggressive, time-sensitive conditions

Your mission

  • Learn the entire creative design process from first sketch to final product

  • Be responsible for one self-directed, individual projects and support in launching product design ideas in line with specific product strategies
