Your talent
- College / University degree or equivalent in Design (Textile, Product, Fashion or related)
- At least 5 years of experience within the Footwear Design Industry
- Competency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of Keyshot is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English
- Excellent organization and management skills
- Passion for the PUMA brand & products and what it stands for

Your mission
- Design, explore and implement footwear material concepts, innovations and technologies across Sportstyle and Performance categories.
- Partner with cross functional innovation team and BU partners to drive material innovations.
- Drive the conversation for key material innovations.
- Generate and present strong product stories, designs and mood boards.
- Apply material concepts to 3D visualizations
- Create design tech packs for product creation at a factory standard.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure materials meet the testing and usage standards for PUMA.
- Constantly gather knowledge of material suppliers, material production, and technical material achievability for footwear.
- Work closely with suppliers to both source, brief and develop new materials in line with the creative direction and commercial needs
- Be on top of material trends, application and cycles.
- Provide design trend analysis presentations
- Travel for development trips, and trade shows.
