- University degree in Footwear Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience in end-to-end footwear product development
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- In-depth material knowledge and passion for innovation
- Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication, intercultural competence, and strategic mindset
- Team-oriented, resilient, and confident under pressure
- Experience with sustainability, innovation, and IP processes is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English; German and/or Mandarin is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Your mission
- Own the end-to-end product development process, from initial design through confirmation, ensuring technical feasibility and performance
- Act as the key technical partner to Design and Product Line Management, translating creative concepts into innovative, manufacturable solutions
- Mentor and guide the Development team, fostering knowledge-sharing and professional growth
- Drive material and construction innovation, working closely with suppliers to improve performance and sustainability
- Evaluate prototypes and approve Red Tag samples, ensuring they meet functional, aesthetic, and cost targets
- Translate athlete and performance feedback into actionable improvements across the development cycle
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Sourcing, Sustainability, and Testing, to deliver against key milestones
- Assess supplier capabilities and lead onboarding for performance-driven projects and innovations
- Domestic and international travel required (approx. 20%).
