Position Summary & Key Objectives
  • To act as Company Secretary for PUMA Sports India Pvt Ltd.
  • To ensure compliance with all legal and statutory provisions of the Companies Act, other applicable corporate laws and all Secretarial requirements.
  • Ensuing compliance with internal constitution and ensuring corporate governance requirements. Filing and recording quarterly reports.
  • To conduct Board meetings, record Board Meetings, AGM, filing of statutory documents
  • Updating and maintaining compliance tracker and contract management
  • Reviewing legal documents and Supply chain agreements and compliance arising from such transactions
  • To keep a close watch on all secretarial, legislatives change and keeping the company updated
  • To keep record of all Secretarial documents
KPIs and qualitative measures:
  • Timely filing of the returns
  • Recording of the Board Meeting
  • Timely sharing of the updates on the legislative intent

Your Mission

Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to lead the merchandising and planning function for PUMA India's expansive network of nearly 200 factory outlets, generating over ₹600 Cr in annual revenue. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end business planning and merchandising, including setting net sales and margin targets, managing inventory, providing buy budgets and designing a robust markdown and promotion strategy to drive both revenue and profitability. Your key objective will be to ensure the right product is available at the right store at the right time, using a deep understanding of customer behavior, product performance & store dynamics.
  • This role requires a strong analytical mindset and a passion for retail excellence. You will:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales, margin & inventory plans for the FOC business
  • Own the markdown strategy, curating offers that maximize sell-through with healthy margins
  • Drive topline and bottom-line growth through effective inventory management & pricing strategy
  • Leverage data-driven decision-making, continuous process improvements, and automation
  • Collaborate closely with sales, buying, operations & finance to deliver on business objectives

  • This is a high-impact role that combines strategic thinking with operational execution in one of Puma Indias most dynamic and rapidly growing channels.
Key Objectives:
  • Demand Forecasting Develop monthly sales targets at the store level, along with detailed daily phasing for the channel. Identify the inventory required to meet these targets and implement effective strategies to ensure achievement.
  • Sales Achievement Monitor progress against sales targets and proactively adjust merchandising or promotional strategies as needed. Collaborate closely with the retail sales team to identify operational gaps and take corrective actions. •
  • Store Merchandising & Inventory Management Manage the allocation of Old Season Merchandise (OSM) from other channels based on store-specific requirements and product gaps relative to sales goals. Drive inventory productivity by implementing aggressive promotions for non-moving and slow-moving stock. Take full ownership of the Bought-For-Outlet strategy by ensuring timely placement in relevant stores, and facilitate regular replenishment or replacement to minimize lost sales opportunities.
  • Markdown Management Design innovative, data-backed promotional offers that balance revenue, profitability, and inventory turnover objectives. Partner with the sales team to execute in-store promotions, customize offers by location, and align visual communication (including windows and in-store messaging) with ongoing campaigns.
  • Purchase Budget Planning Define the Open-to-Buy (OTB) requirements necessary to support the planned sales trajectory. Provide strategic direction to the buying team on product selection, key price points, and high-potential styles guided by current performance trends and assortment gaps within the channel.
  • Operational Efficiency Continuously monitor store performance and diagnose underlying issues impacting sales. Collaborate with the sales, visual merchandising, and store development teams to improve retail execution and overall operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Development Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, empowering them to implement best practices both within the channel and across the organization in their respective regions. Foster continuous learning by supporting their upskilling and professional growth, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-impact results.

Education: Bachelor 'degree in business management or equivalent studied.

Professional: Functional: Minimum 5 years retail operations experience and 2-3 years from a similar position with a Global Brand in a customer service-oriented environment (preferably apparel/footwear/sports/outdoor)

Leadership: Minimum 2 years of managerial experience. Experience in managing multiple stores required.

Your Mission

Strategically manage and promote sales culture within a District of 8-12 stores to achieve or exceed sales, KPI’s, and profitability goals to position PUMA to be the Fastest Sports Brand in the world.

Task 1: Deliver on Set Targets and KPIs

  • Deliver on set retail P&L and KPI targets and identify opportunities and initiate plans to improve and grow the business by increasing store productivity (e.g. Conversion Rate, UPT, ATV, Sales per hour and sqm).
  • Increase comp sales of all PUMA stores by setting & driving SMART targets and implementing operating plans locally.
  • Closely monitor business performance and take necessary action.
  • Proactively manage Store-related OPEX with particular emphasis on Personnel Expenses.

Task 2: Operations Standards / Store Management

  • Adopt and implement global/regional Operational Tools and Standards.
  • Execute country-specific operational policies and procedures (per Global Retail Operation Manual) to ensure they are compliant with International/Global Retail standards.
  • Deliver all operational standards for store openings (with Daily Game Plan), closings, relocation, upgrades, stock replenishment, inventory management, staff roster etc, to ensure smooth implementation and that budgets and timelines are met.
  • Coach and lead local Retail Operations Teams to ensure Area- and Store Managers’ capabilities and competencies are developed and comply with International/Global standards.
  • Manage all operational aspects of store inventories, including defining in-store shipment processes, coordinating stock takes and ensuring data integrity. Work with Merchandise and Planning team to manage store inventory level to ensure optimal stock to support sales targets.
  • Manage country loss prevention standards and ensure that shrink goals are met and security is to PUMA standard.
  • Execute VM guidelines in accordance with Global VM Survival Guide and RESEC.
  • Guide, coach and train retail staff in all aspects of retail operations and retail training, working with close co-operation with the Country Retail Trainer. Support retail field training programs and roll-out of training initiatives.
  • Execute the Customer Experience Program and use it to improve Retail Sales and customer service standards.
  • Tailor Regional and International operational initiatives to meet Country needs including translation of material and execute these according to designated timeline and budget.

Task 3: Cross Functional Relationship

  • Work effectively with Retail support functions for country specific projects and needs.
  • Establish collaborative and effective relationships with Country Retail Manager, Retail Training, Retail Marketing, Merchandising Manager, E-Commerce Director etc.

Task 4: Process Improvement

  • Set and implement best practices on Operations Management via cross-functional and cross-channel collaboration. Drive process improvements and strategic priorities in the country.

Task 5: Teams

  • Drive and coach country Operations teams to ensure that they are motivated and capable of managing the business effectively.
  • Work closely with Country Retail Training teams to identify the relevant developmental needs for store teams to ensure that training programs are targeted, relevant and conducted effectively.
  • Work closely with country support functions and wholesale teams.
  • Identify talent within the staff pool and develop them as part of succession planning.
  • Develop strong store management team and secure succession plan through effective hiring, development, training and staff retention programs.

    Your Mission

    Position Summary: As a Senior Legal Counsel, the incumbent will work with the Head of Legal or the Head of the respective business. They will handle diverse business transactions, ensuring such transactions are properly recorded through agreements after ascertaining all relevant facts. The role involves staying updated on legal developments, drafting, reading, and reviewing agreements, advising on legal risks, and handling disputes.
