Your mission

Role Summary: PUMA India is looking for an experienced e-commerce professional to lead marketplace and digital commerce operations across key platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio and other strategic online partners.

The role will be responsible for driving profitable growth, improving operational performance, managing inventory availability, optimizing marketplace execution and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the company’s commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-commerce and Marketplace Management

  • Own the day-to-day business performance of assigned marketplaces and digital commerce channels.

  • Develop and execute marketplace strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, sell-through and market-share objectives.

  • Manage online product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotional events and commercial calendars.

  • Drive improvements in traffic, conversion, average selling price, sell-through and overall marketplace productivity.

  • Monitor marketplace dashboards and identify opportunities or risks related to sales, pricing, stock and product visibility.

  • Build strong relationships with marketplace account managers and external business partners.

2. Inventory and Availability Management

  • Monitor stock cover, sell-through, ageing inventory, stock-outs, excess inventory and replenishment requirements.

  • Develop actions to improve inventory turnover and reduce lost sales caused by availability issues.

  • Coordinate liquidation and markdown strategies for ageing, slow-moving and end-of-season inventory.

  • Ensure alignment between commercial demand, inventory availability and fulfilment capacity.

3. Commercial and P&L Management

  • Own the commercial performance of the assigned e-commerce business, including net sales, gross margin, discounts and profitability.

  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, budgets, business reviews and performance updates.

  • Track actual performance against targets and identify corrective actions.

  • Evaluate the financial impact of promotions, discounts, marketplace fees, returns and operational costs.

  • Partner with finance teams to improve reporting accuracy and profitability visibility.

  • Use data-driven insights to support pricing, promotion and investment decisions.

4. Catalogue and Product Operations

  • Drive timely and accurate product catalogue creation, onboarding and content readiness.

  • Coordinate product information, images, descriptions, attributes, pricing and inventory feeds across platforms.

  • Improve product discoverability and content quality in partnership with brand, marketing and catalogue teams.

  • Manage marketplace readiness for new launches, range updates and seasonal product transitions.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with merchandising, planning, supply chain, warehouse, finance, marketing, customer service and technology teams.

  • Support the development of processes that improve execution speed, accuracy and scalability.

  • Establish clear governance mechanisms, reporting routines and performance review forums.

6. Reporting and Analytics

  • Create and maintain regular business reports, dashboards and management presentations.

  • Analyze sales, inventory, profitability, customer, product and marketplace data to identify growth opportunities.

Candidate Profile

  • 6–9 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, digital retail or commercial operations.

  • Experience managing major marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of online retail metrics, marketplace operations, inventory planning and promotional management.

  • Experience managing sales targets, business planning, forecasting and P&L performance.

  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and external marketplace partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert data into business decisions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools is preferred.

Your mission

  • To monitor & maintain production quality findings analysis, rework and statistical interpretation share & guide relevant sections. Provide support to minimize reworks and reduce defect percentages. Minimize interdepartmental rework ​and ensure on-time shipment with the right quality.
  • Train the factory CFA (Certified Factory Auditor) QA teams, we need to develop a factory CFA, QFA (QMS factory auditor), and QA team through verification training by PGS.
  • Perform PP meetings in line, pre-final and final inspection. Monitoring running production and providing technical support to the production unit when required to ensure the right quality standard.
  • Ensure a quality management system (QMS). To be able to conduct QMS audit follow-up on a quarterly basis to ensure all corrective action stated in the CAR is implemented according to the agreed CAP and timeline. To be able to conduct continuous training for suppliers and QFA (QMS factory auditor).
  • Performance of Passing Rates: Inbound versus Outbound: Uphold the Quality Pass Rate Requirement: Using the information retrieved from the PBI and PGS self-data record systems, create a tracking record for the manufacturers and suppliers. Along with reducing outbound versus inbound problems,
    Submission PGS of monthly manufacturing performance during the final inspection.

Task 1: Training & Capability Building

  • Coordinate sustainability projects by supporting project planning, defining workplans, tracking timelines, and ensuring key deliverables are completed in line with agreed priorities and milestones.
  • Work with internal teams, suppliers, external partners, and industry initiatives to coordinate project activities, collect inputs, follow up on actions, and support smooth implementation across relevant workstreams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify implementation gaps or risks, prepare status updates, and provide practical recommendations to support timely delivery and continuous improvement of sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions for sourcing teams, suppliers and factory management to enhance compliance awareness, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Task 2: Reporting & Team Contribution

  • Support the team’s sustainability reporting by consolidating data inputs, preparing planning materials, tracking milestones, and monitoring progress toward Social Sustainability goals.
  • Maintain reporting tools, trackers, SOPs, and templates to improve data quality, cross functional alignment, and timely visibility of sustainability performance and action plans.
  • Support responses to ESG benchmarking questionnaires and external sustainability information requests by coordinating inputs, collecting supporting evidence, reviewing data accuracy, and ensuring timely and consistent submissions.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Task 3: Audit and Compliance Management

  • Conduct PUMA social audits and oversee third-party audit activities, from planning and coordination to findings review, CAP follow-up, root-cause analysis, and support for sustainable remediation with factory management.
  • Review and analyze audit reports (e.g: SLCP reports, or other audit reports converted from other FLA accredited brands and finalize findings according to PUMA requirements and internal standards.)
  • Ensure timely and accurate tracking of audit results, validity timeline in internal systems, in accordance with internal Sustainability SOPs
  • Provide clear insights, communicate key findings, risks and progress update to relevant stakeholders (e.g. Sourcing, internal teams) to support compliance risk management and decision making.

Task 4: Social KPI Data Collection and Management

  • Collect, validate and analyze Social Sustainability KPIs across assigned suppliers to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify the trends, recurring issues, and key gaps to generate actionable insights and support continuous improvement initiatives and achieve PUMA Sustainability targets.

Task 5: Grievance Mechanism Handling and Management

  • Manage and follow up on worker or third-party grievances received through internal and external channels, ensuring timely and appropriate investigation and resolution.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and 3rd party grievance platforms to ensure smooth implementation, effective handling the cases while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Track grievance cases and analyze trends to identify systemic issues and support preventive actions.

  • Under the direction of the Teamhead/ Creative Director, collect market intelligence, providing all involved with accurate and up-to-date information on graphic design trends and developments and utilizes them effectively.
  • Identify functionality requirements and ensure accurate use of information technology systems in order to gain competitive advantage.
  • Be accountable for achieving all tasks of the Vertical Development Calendar within the given timelines.
  • Work closely with Teamhead of design, Product Line Manager, Development team and China merchant team to create and execute innovative graphic design for apparel based on Global creative direction.
  • Travel to the factories to work on the development of the product and ensure that quick response timelines are met.

Your talent

  • University degree in Design and/or relevant field of study
  • At least 5-8 years of work experience of graphic design of apparel for one or more leading fashion/lifestyle/sports brand, ideally in the fashion, athletic/apparel industry
  • Versatile designer who has experience designing graphic across men’s, women’s and children’s products. Strong apparel graphic execution knowledge is preferred
  • Professional experience working in team environment, ability to function autonomously as well as in a cooperative, diverse group
  • Professional working experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Tremendous attention to detail and extraordinary time-management skills
  • Key account concept and end-consumer understanding within the Chinese market
  • Vertical mindset
  • Strategic and creative thinking, strong initiative, passionate about product
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
