Your mission

The Product Line Manager will have the opportunity to work in a hands-on product management environment for a growing business within Puma. They will be directly involved in the product creation process for the Global Basketball Footwear lines to service the global market.

  • Collaborate across global BU, Development, Merch, and Sales to develop plans resulting in business and brand heat growth through the lens of Basketball Footwear. 

  • Own the product creation process for multiple models within Puma Basketball Footwear Range. 

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, merchandising and development to ensure proper GTM process is kept and product story comes to life. 

  • Facilitate growth plans of Puma Basketball Footwear including both inline and signature product ranges on a global scale.

  • Maintain product information systems ensuring excellent data quality, collaborate with GTM to ensure data accuracy and deadlines

  • Keep track of samples arriving from sourcing regions and send them to the Global merchandisers and sales teams

  • Maintain sample storage area to ensure organization and easy access to the product

Your talent

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Finance

  • 2-4 years of experience in Product Line Management within the sportswear industry, footwear preferred 

  • Experience with managing systems with attention to detail

  • Experience working in ambiguous and agile work environment

  • Independent and open-minded thinker

  • Proactive and solution driven

  • Interest in Basketball and it’s product stories

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word are necessary.

Your mission

General

  • Acquire and maintain an understanding of all product offerings and be able to accurately differentiate products.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions to accurately identify components.

Mailroom

  • Support daily mailroom activities during a specified time window each day.
  • Process and distribute incoming mail and parcels in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including carrier documentation, labeling, and package staging.
  • Maintain a safe and organized mailroom where equipment is functioning and packages are neatly stored and easy to identify.
  • Report shipping station equipment or software issues to the supervisor and submit appropriate work orders or IT support tickets as needed. 
  • Ensure shipping supplies are stocked and organized.  This includes various size boxes, bubble wrap, mailers, tape, dunnage, etc.
  • Manage inventory of shipping supplies and notify supervisors of low stock levels.

Order Picking

  • Safely and accurately pick and stage components according to manufacturing work orders.  Components include heads, shafts, grips, headcovers, weights, couplings, etc.
  • Inspect materials and be able to identify damage, defects, or discrepancies with part numbers.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse by keeping warehouse pick locations organized and aisles free from obstructions.
  • Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality performance metrics to support daily production schedules.
  • Identify material shortages in forward pick locations and notify supervisors of low stock levels.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure proper material disposition and inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with the stocking of supplies and consumable materials as needed.

Packaging and Assembly Support

  • Act as a backup to the Associate Warehouse Packaging & Assembly Support.
  • Assemble corrugated boxes, cartons, and other miscellaneous packaging according to packaging specifications.
  • Maintain a continuous supply of boxes, packaging materials, and consumables to assembly cells to avoid workflow stoppages.
  • Organize and stage packaging materials to support daily production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels of packaging supplies and notify supervisor of replenishment needs.
  • Transport materials safely and efficiently between storage locations and assembly cells.
  • Assist with headcover replenishment in the assembly cells.
  • Manage cardboard recycling through collecting, transporting, sorting, and bailing in accordance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Perform regular housekeeping of production carts to ensure they are clean and free from debris.
  • Maintain grip station operations by refilling solvent, monitoring solvent supply, and notifying supervisor when additional supply is needed.

Your mission

  • Prepare and process domestic and international shipments in compliance with company, customer, and carrier requirements.
  • Generate and apply shipping labels, packing slips, commercial invoices, and carrier documentation using WMS and carrier specific shipping systems (ie. FedEx, UPS, DHL).
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and manage the ship complete process in the ERP/WMS system for all manufacturing orders.
  • Ensure packages are separated by service level, properly stacked on pallets, and distributed to the warehouse loading docks for shipment pickup.  Shrink-wrap should be applied to larger pallets being picked up by FedEx.

Your mission

Your mission
