Your Talent

  • Relevant experience in Supply Planning and Purchasing
  • Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Proven interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills to operate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with a holistic business understanding and deep expertise in Supply Chain concepts and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in supply and inventory planning and management methodology and approaches
  • Proven experience in procurement and purchase order management
  • Background in Apparel and Footwear operations preferred
  • English fluent (written and oral)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous relevant experience in a supply/planning and purchasing environment or a similar role, Strong understanding of supply chain and purchase order process.
  • Must be numerate, logical, and accurate with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems, experience with SAP environment a plus but not essential.
  • Profound knowledge and confidence of Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams, Advanced Excel – VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, power queries etc
  • Experience in planning and supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.

This role will close on 31st October 2024. Please note the start date for this role will be in January 2025.

Your Mission

Lead effort to improve availability and inventory levels by developing feasible supply plans that meet projected demand:

  • Receive Gross Demand Forecasts and translate into net demand considering placed orders, goods in transit, and available inventories.
  • Determine safety stock requirements.
  • Plan purchase orders per order placement date based on required lead times, working to balance production and drive production efficiency at required service levels.
  • Manage minimum order quantity requirements and work with Regional Supply Chain Management and Demand Planning to define measures for mitigation.
  • Define, apply and maintain appropriate supply and product flow models.

Release, manage and monitor purchase orders:

  • Execute material blocking in close collaboration with Demand Planning and Regional Supply Chain Management team.
  • Check and release purchase orders to Sourcing based on supply plans.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing to confirm purchase orders and shipment dates, track and maintain purchase orders.
  • Drive management and alignment with Demand Planning and Fulfillment in case of inventory shortages through supply events such as production delays, reduced quantities, or quality issues.

Collaborate with Sourcing team to support capacity planning and management:

  • Review consensus plans and forecasts provided by Demand Planning to verify feasibility from Supply Chain and Sourcing perspective.
  • Support Regional Supply Chain Management team to develop contingency plans with Sourcing to ensure availability of capacity against forecast.

Provide comprehensive analysis of supply-side KPIs and standard reports and communication:

  • Gather, analyse, and validate data to provide supply-side KPI reporting.
  • Prepare, maintain, and share standard WIP, on-order, in-transit, allocation and delivery reporting and communication.
