Your Talent

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within Buying & Merchandising.  
  • Preferably 2+ years of work experience in Retail Buying or Planning.
  • Preferably university degree in business related area.
  • Strong MS Office/ Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of all relevant Merchandising KPIs.
  • PowerBI, VRT or T1 Studio knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (English) is a must.
  • Understanding of Merchandise Planning & Buying cycles.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of market trends, sporting goods & fashion industry.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Team Player.

Your Mission

Responsible for the Retail Merchandising & Buying function within PUMA GCC (Full Price, .com).

  • Define seasonal product ranges and buy plan across full price & online business.
  • Determine range building blocks, weeks in store, sell thru targets and store gradings based on qualitative & quantitative data to submit forecasts and final buy quantities.
  • Accountable for timely order placement & tracking.
  • Jointly responsible to track bottom-up and top-down-targets in season and revising action plans to meet targets.
  • Accountable for buy spend, divisional inventory control and option counts.
  • Liaise with Teamhead Retail Merchandising to develop financial plans and seasonal strategies across categories & stores.
  • Jointly accountable for sale strategies, performance tracking and post-sale-analysis.
  • Inventory control, stock movements & option count management to ensure maximum profit, space density & option flow in season.
  • Jointly accountable for delivering maximum sales, margin, and profit to the business.
  • Work closely with the allocation team to ensure timely product launches and implementation of assortment plans.
  • Work closely with VM, Commercial Marketing, Brand Marketing & Operations to ensure most commercial display & zoning in store.
  • Responsible for weekly product performance and Sell Thru analysis (plan vs actuals) to improve future buys, store distribution, OTB level & achieve store budgets.  
  • Product and strategy presentations to global team (Buy Review), management, operations and other stakeholders.
  • Build product assortment for new store openings based on historical data & store environment.
  • Prepare RESEC based on regional and global calendars as well as Retail specific product focusses.
  • Range Plan Maintenance (ISDs, Buy quantity, store distribution, pricing, etc.)
