Your Talent
- A minimum of 5 years work experience in international product management in the sporting goods industry, preferably apparel
- Very good knowledge and passion for consumer trends, the fashion/lifestyle market and retail environment
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with complex processes
- Good analytical and business acumen
- Passion for Motorsport
- Very good verbal communication skills as well as excellent English knowledge (written and spoken)
- Excellent MS-Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Confident and flexible teamplayer with strong initiative and entrepreneurial spirit
- Graduate studies in Business Administration, Sports Management or comparable degree
- This opportunity will be available in full time or part time.
Your Mission
- Independently develop conceptual assortment plans (CAP) on product line and price basis considering specified company and Business Unit targets
- Cross functional cooperation with Sports Licensing, Marketing, Design, Development and Merchandising to ensure that the final collection is reflecting market or partner needs
- Collaborate and drive the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market calendar and partner requirements of a specific product line
- Close collaboration and relationship management with our external partners on their needs and wishes, whilst maintaining the relevance to Puma
- Preparing market- and competitor studies on an international level as well as analyzing forecasts and sales analyses
- Presenting product strategy and product lines to international partners and key accounts and preparation of international meetings
- Working closely with other Business Units as well as Motorsport footwear and accessory teams to ensure concept and product coordination across all product segments
- Planning, coordinating and final checking of the instore date/product flow
- Cross checking the final Free on Board-prices considering given target margins
- Constantly challenges the product costing and how costing affects the product quality, margin & net sales from design to phase to production release
- Regular market, fair and suppler visits
- Ensuring the maintenance and input of all required information for selected product lines on all internal PUMA systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.
