Your Talent
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or business, with CA/CPA qualifications.
- 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, management accounting, or business partnering.
- Strong commercial acumen and business partnering experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (Retail/FMCG experience preferred).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in SAP, Power BI, Power Query, and other BI tools.
- Proven ability to lead budgeting and planning cycles and translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with non-financial stakeholders.
- A results-driven, positive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
Your Mission

We’re looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to support our Oceania region with financial insights and strategic analysis to help shape the financial direction of the business. You’ll work closely with business managers to bridge the gap between financial data and business strategy, helping drive performance and informed decision-making.
Your Role:
- Drive forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes for PUMA AU, NZ, and Golf business units.
- Collaborate with Wholesale and Retail teams to evaluate assumptions and provide recommendations based on business drivers and customer trends.
- Ensure timely and reliable submission of financial information into Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Deliver monthly forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Develop and manage an Integrated Business Planning Calendar to align departmental planning cycles.
- Provide monthly financial analysis and commercial insights into trading performance, presenting findings clearly and concisely to business leaders.
- Track and review OPEX with department heads, identifying trends and recommending cost optimization strategies.
- Meet Regional and Global performance reporting requirements and produce monthly KPI tracking reports.
- Support strategic decision-making with financial modeling, deep-dive reporting, and SAP/BI tools.
- Drive continuous process improvements and help establish a best practice FP&A function.
- Provide financial modelling for ad-hoc projects and contribute to digitalising financial processes using AI tools where possible.
- Build strong relationships across the business, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and helping non-financial stakeholders understand financial goals and business objectives.
- Support the development of commercial acumen across the business to deliver functional targets.
