Your Talent

Education: Bachelor's degree in finance/ accounting; Certified Public Accountant

Functional: 3-5 years experience in a middle-level finance or accounting position. Trained from big 4 for at least 3 years is preferable.

Industry: Retail, Trading, FMCG

IT Skills: SAP, Hyperion, Excellent MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI

Language Skills: English

Functional Skills: International accounting standards knowledge

Your Mission

The purpose of this role is to take care of all the important financial functions of an organization. The person in charge should maintain a far sightedness in order to ensure that the funds are utilized in the most efficient manner. His actions directly affect the profitability, growth and goodwill of the company.

Task 1: Compilation and coordination of the budgets/forecasts with the business units and functions within PUMA. Compilation of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting system including annotations and references to the management and accordingly to the business units. Compilation of external reporting per the statutory requirement. Ensure reporting timeliness and accuracy.  Liaise with Auditors, Customs Department and Legal advisors.

Task 2: Controlling of KPIs against budgets and monitoring the execution by way of Financial Planning & Analysis. Support management in matters such as strategic financial engineering, upgrade of controlling tools, change system, efficient project management, business presentations, e.g. budget reviews or business/operating reviews and any other ad-hoc requests.

Task 3: Ensure implementation of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures as well as maintenance of the accounting system. Documentation of SOP in SAP to enhance work quality.

Task 4: Involve in / Develop process improvements, utilization of analytical tools like Power BI & Robotic Process Automation, in order to facilitate management decision making.

Task 5: Assist in setting up and monitoring an effective controlled operational workflow that can utilize the potential of the subordinates. Train, motivate and develop the supporting team to ensure delivery of the functional targets.
