Your Talent
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably with business degree
Professional: Experience in retail / merchandising experience in a fashion / branded / ecommerce environment
IT Skills: Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Power Point
Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good English written/verbal skills required (PUMA Group language is English)
Your Mission
Head of Merchandising Thailand will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy for Thailand for achieving brand and business targets set by SEA Brand team. He/She will be leading the Thailand merchandising and Go-to-Market teams, to build the consumer-right assortments both for DTC and Wholesale channels, including online and offline. This will require to redefine country merchandising strategies along with initiatives to gain market share and brand equity, which include pricing, ranging & buying strategy while ensuring to deliver Net Sales, Margin and Growth targets.
Merchandising and Go-to-Market Strategy
Redefine country business priorities across Retail, multi brand Wholesale and Ecom channels, based on the understanding in a rapidly transforming business environment, consumer preferences and market trends to drive growth of PUMA in Thailand.
Build cohesive merchandising strategy across the mentioned channels to deliver the best results of the business.
Collaborate with local commercial team and marketing team to strategize and execute seasonal Go-to-Market.
Create qualitative product assorments with the consumer-end in mind, to elevate the brand equity while ensuring the market share gain in Thailand.
Lead country DTC Merchandising team to achieve both financial target (net sales and retail margin) and brand elevation in the market across O&O Retail, Ecom and partner Retail.
DTC Process and KPI
Drive discussion on action needed based on trading trend across different channel on Weekly, monthly basis within country with relevant stakeholder.
Responsible for trading decision example promotion, markdown price changes, re-buy needs, stock transfers etc.
Responsible for DTC end discount, inventory holding, margin and end ebit of channel in line with yearly financial budget.
Wholesale Business
Create the most competitive product ranges according to the customer/consumer profile.
Build and execute Key Account penetration plan, working with Wholesale and Marketing teams.
Build clear product segmentation among different level and type of distributions.
Define business opportunities based on consumer insights and work with Global and SEA team to build supplementary products to close the business gap.
