Your Talent
Education:
University Degree in Accounting
Professional:
- Functional: 8-10 years in Finance and Accounting
- Industry: Audit Firms and Multinational Companies
- Leadership: 1+ years of supervisory experience (preferred)
IT Skills:
- Excel: Advanced
- SAP: Working knowledge
Language Skills:
Fluent in English in both written & spoken
Your Mission
The primary role is to manage and execute finance function as per below:
Task 1: Oversee the daily accounting and treasury functions
- Accounts payable, collection, employee advances and claims are managed in line with company policies, standard operating procedures, and authorization matrix
- Collections and disbursements are managed efficiently, and liquidity planning in line with business requirement, liaise with banks
Task 2: Oversee the wholesales business.
- Assist in annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting exercise, and provide analysis on the budget and forecast figures to actual to support any business decision
- Prepare, monitor and analyze monthly Puma Wholesales actual results – P&L and balance sheets
Task 3: Actual Reporting
- Month closing related activities like accrual, provisions, schedules etc.
- Assist in month closing activities- HFM reporting (Hyperion Financial Management) etc.
Task 4: Tax reporting and statutory compliance
Responsible for Tax compliance.
Making sure all the relevant tax topics like WHT (with holding tax), VAT etc taken care
Tax returns are filed and paid on time and in compliance with tax provisions liaise with consultants and tax authorities during tax audits.
Coordinate and complete annual audit with external auditors
Task 5: Assist in Fixed Asset control - Recording of Fixed assets as per local GAAP, monthly depreciation run, regular monitor physical count of assets and reconciliation with books
Task 6: Perform/Lead ad hoc projects for the continuous improvement of Finance Department – SAP system enhancement, Zoho enhancement, etc
