Your Mission

  • Work closely with business stakeholders throughout the PUMA North America region across a number of processes, systems, and technologies.

Responsibilities: 

We are currently looking for a highly motivated PR and Marketing Communications Temp to work out of our Somerville, MA office. The PR and Marketing Communications Temp will be part of the dynamic PUMA North America (PNA) communications team, which is responsible for PR, Paid Media and Social efforts for the region.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Director, Marketing Communications and other key team members and stakeholders across the broader PNA Marketing teams to help develop and execute impactful PR and communications strategies and plans for the North America business.

  • Design and develop color and material concepts across multiple footwear lines with an emphasis on seasonal stories and cohesive pack narratives, aligning with brand strategy, resonating with target consumers and meeting cost and margin requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners in Design, Product Line Management and Development to translate insights into bold, consumer-relevant footwear stories catering to regional needs, bring concepts to life from ideation to final product.

  • Lead the material selection process, exploring new and innovative materials, finishes, and constructions aimed to elevate product across a competitive landscape.

  • Build color and material palettes that are both trend-forward and rooted in brand identity.

  • Create and deliver mood boards, color CADs, material maps, and physical mock-ups to clearly communicate design vision when applicable, meeting tight deadlines.

  • Participate in material and trend research trips, trade shows, and inspiration travel to stay ahead of trends and innovations.

  • Build visually captivating presentations to communicate design narratives and material innovations to cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Participate in and lead seasonal trend reviews and consumer-focused brainstorming sessions.

  • Maintain an expert understanding of the local market competitive landscape and brand positioning to ensure connection with consumers.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Management, Business Administration or Marketing preferred

Your Mission

  • Build product assortments & manage the product creation process for assigned Sportstyle Footwear product lines specifically drafted to the needs of North America and Latin American regions.
  • Ensure that products are connected to consumer needs and locally relevant, driving story telling excellence and brand heat.
  • Manage the product creation process & calendar from brief to final product sign off on specific GTM timelines.
  • Liaise with Global Business Units, regional teams as well as Sourcing counterparts.

Your Mission

This position will be responsible for creating and driving compelling and strategic stories and plans that align to key business initiatives for the PUMA business in North America. The Senior Marketing Manager Communications will help identify and deliver creative storytelling that connects consumers to our brand, purpose, products and athletes consistently. This position will work closely with both PUMA’s global and North American marketing teams to translate our global initiatives to the North American market to support the business and brand functions.

  • Responsible for developing and executing communications strategies for PUMA North America, owning efforts for regionally specific initiatives within the North America media landscape and key global initiatives that are led by the North America based team
  • Proactively pitch strategic media within consumer, lifestyle, culture, sneaker, fashion, emerging media, social media and business media, as well as cultivate new relationships across verticals
  • Responsible for creating, editing and developing PR materials and other media tools including messaging, press releases, executive briefs, talking points, media presentations, pitches, among other documents
  • Organize media interviews and event media attendance and coverage
  • Work with PUMA spokespeople to prepare briefing materials and organize media interviews as needed
  • Work closely with the North America account marketing teams to communicate account specific programming and build interest
  • Manage communications calendar for PNA
  • Help manage North American external agency relationships and serve as day-to-day contact for owned initiatives
  • Support with North America corporate and internal communications initiatives as needed
  • Collaborate with other cross functional departments and teams – including within North America marketing, across product and category teams, to global communications counterparts – and build strong working relationships to ensure alignment and successful North America implementation of communications plans
  • Monitor and measure success using tools and resources available, and deliver goals and KPI’s on a timely basis
  • Act as a PUMA representative at events
  • Assist in management of PR budget
