Global sports company PUMA and Manchester City have today launched the brand-new Away kit for the 24/25 season. Marking the 25th anniversary of one of the most iconic moments in the Club’s history, the kit pays homage to the kit worn during an unforgettable comeback on May 30th, 1999, when City triumphed over Gillingham in the Second Division Play-Off final in dramatic fashion.

Manchester City's history is rich with moments of tenacity and resilience, and the 1999 Play-Off final is a testament to that spirit. Trailing by two goals, City’s determination eventually saw them through to victory on penalties, after Paul Dickov’s dramatic equaliser in the 95th minute took the game into extra time. To celebrate this iconic match that has been etched into the hearts of the Manchester City fans, PUMA has brought back a certified classic: a navy-blue jersey featuring neon yellow vertical stripes, with neon yellow and blue detailing on the classic collar and sleeve trims.

The new Away kit was showcased for the first-time last night at Yankee Stadium, where AC Milan played a friendly game against Manchester City. In an epic first for AC Milan, the team wore their Home kit in the first half and then surprised fans by switching to the new Away kit for the second half, marking its debut and the first time the Club has unveiled a kit in this way.

Details make all the difference in the 24/25 AC Milan Away kit. The classic white Away kit combined with a red-and-black polo collar and monochromatic crest personifies the spirit of success and casual sophistication of a team synonymous with the beautiful game. A tonal pinstripe pattern adds a historic touch, honouring AC Milan’s origins as the Milan Football and Cricket Club.

To mark the launch of the new Away kit, AC Milan and PUMA will host an exclusive “House of Milan” event on the 28th July in Manhattan. The event will bring together stakeholders and VIP guests to celebrate the new kit in a fashion-forward manner.

The Hollywood Palladium was buzzing with excitement as PUMA ambassador and global football star Neymar Jr. made a special appearance to watch the football finals, with the winning teams given the exclusive opportunity to meet Neymar Jr.  

Following the football tournament, PUMA hosted Neymar Jr. and Brazilian football reporter Isabela Pagliari for a Q&A session.

Global sports company PUMA and Manchester City, have today revealed the brand-new Home kit for the 24/25 season. Designed with Manchester in its fabric, the sky-blue kit features threads of 0161 in the trim – a reference to the Club’s Mancunian roots.

Manchester’s 0161 is more than a dialling code. You’ll see it written on lampposts, printed on t-shirts, and even tattooed on people. It’s a sense of what being Mancunian is all about – a sense of location, no matter where you are in the world.

This season, 0161 can be seen woven into the eye-catching trims of the 24/25 Home kit and the world is invited to wear it, experience it, and feel it. From East Manchester to Istanbul, Northern Quarter to Norway, Moss Side to the other side of the world.

The collection, with the BVB Special Edition Jersey as its centerpiece, is a tribute to the place where 81,365 fans share their passion, creating one of the most electrifying atmospheres in sports.

The jersey features distinctive details and graphics inspired by the stadium’s grand architecture, paying homage to five decades of history at one of football’s most iconic venues. PUMA LAUNCHES 2024 NATIONAL TEAM HOME & AWAY KITS - REMADE WITH RE:FIBRE

Global sports company PUMA has today unveiled their 2024 National Team Home and Away kits, featuring bespoke designs that celebrate the rich heritage of each nation. The Authentic version has been created from PUMA’s innovative, ultra-light ULTRAWEAVE technology, while the Replica jerseys have been crafted with the PUMA’s RE:FIBRE recycling technology. 

The RE:FIBRE process focuses on textile waste as the primary source of material to create new textiles. The recycled material can be used for recycling again and again without losing quality – making RE:FIBRE a more long-term solution for recycling polyester textile waste.

Through the RE:FIBRE program, PUMA is keen to address the challenge of textile waste via a long-term solution for recycling. The technology also looks to diversify the fashion industry’s main source of recycled polyester in garments from being less reliant on clear plastic bottles.

The RE:FIBRE process uses any polyester material – from factory offcuts, faulty goods to pre-loved clothes which allows new garments to be recycled from any color textile to any color desired. 

PUMA’s further commitment to sustainability is evident by PUMA’s move to introduce the RE:FIBRE initiative to their Club Replica jerseys for the 2024/25 season.

For the first time our National team Replica jerseys will be made from RE:FIBRE. The new collection of jerseys for Austria, Czech Republic, Iceland, Switzerland and, Serbia embrace the unique nature and culture of each country. These designs not only celebrate the rich heritage of each nation but also ensure a lasting emotional connection for generations to come.

Austria

The 2024 Austria Replica Home kit features a red base and intricately weaves Jugendstil architectural beauty into its design, combining bespoke graphics with proud details. The white Away kit, adorned with vibrant blue accents, mirrors the nation's affinity for nature and exploration.

CZECH REPUBLIC

The Czech Republic red Home kit incorporates the nation's colors alongside an abstract print derived from the double-tailed lion emblem, infusing a modern flair into this traditional symbol. The white Away kit pays homage to the relentless determination of the Czech Republic's class of 2004 with a classic design, featuring repeated double-tailed lion emblems as a proud nod to the team’s spirit.

ICELAND

Iceland's 2024 blue Home kit draws inspiration from the breath-taking ice glaciers covering 11% of the country, symbolizing the deep connection between the people, the team, and the surrounding landscape. The Iceland Away kit, with an ash grey base illuminated by fiery accents, embodies the energy of Iceland's volcanic landscape, representing the team's power, passion, and determination while honouring the intertwined natural and cultural heritage.

SWITZERLAND

Embracing the essence of Swiss culture, the 2024 Switzerland red Home kit seamlessly blends heritage and Alpine elegance with edelweiss flower graphics inspired by traditional Swiss clothing. Meanwhile, the white Away kit draws inspiration from the iconic Jungfraujoch railway station in the Swiss Alps, capturing the harmonious fusion of natural beauty and engineering excellence that defines Switzerland.

SERBIA

Serbia's 2024 red Home kit spreads its wings with graphics representing an X-ray view of an eagle's wing, symbolizing both the team's bravery on the pitch and Serbia's storied heritage in sports and science. The white Away kit, with a crisp white base and blue accents, celebrates Serbia's natural and cultural landscape, featuring knitted sleeve cuffs inspired by the mystical Đavolja Varoš (Devil's Town) rock formation on Radan Mountain in South Serbia.

All RE:FIBRE garments are made of at least 95% recycled textile waste and other used materials made of polyester. There is only one Forever - Let’s make it better.

PUMA to become the new kit supplier of RB Leipzig

Sports company PUMA has signed a long-term partnership with Bundesliga football club RB Leipzig and will equip all men’s, women’s and youth teams from the 2024/25 season onwards.

Following the club’s meteoric rise from the fifth tier of German football to the top flight, RB Leipzig has been a breath of fresh air in the Bundesliga and has managed to qualify for the Champions League six times. The club also won the DFB-Cup twice and the DFL-Supercup once. The women’s team was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2023.

“The Red Bulls of RB Leipzig have made a name for themselves in a very short time, not just in Germany but also internationally,” said PUMA CEO Arne Freundt. “We are looking forward to many fantastic football moments and are excited to join the club on this successful journey in the coming years.”

Apart from supplying kits to the different teams, PUMA also secured wide ranging rights for sponsorship, merchandising, match day advertising in the Red Bull Arena and the RB Leipzig Football Academy, as well as digital activations. PUMA will also equip RB Leipzig’s esports team.
