Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 2-3 years clinical or educational experience

  • Health professional, technical training experience

  • Understanding of health sciences – specifical podiatry, physiotherapy or sports sciences

  • Understanding of budget management

  • Ability to work cross functionally in a Global Organisation

  • Ability to work independently and multitask

  • Up to date understanding of running gait cycle

  • Passion for education and learning

  • Passion for sport

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Strong public speaking skills

  • Detail orientated, resourceful, proactive, self-confident, and organised

  • Strong Trouble-Shooting skills

Your Mission

The role of Technical Representative's key accountability is to plan, execute and monitor the effectiveness of technical training and education for performance categories – with a key focus on Running and Football footwear – across PUMA Oceania.

This is a newly created role within the Marketing team and will focus on developing training and education programs, tools and platforms that drive awareness, consideration and sell-through of key performance products through wholesale and retail channels.

Key responsibilities include:

Wholesale – Technical Training

  • In alignment with the Global running team, develop and implement engaging technical training programs and tools to educate retail team members within key retailers

  • In alignment with the sales team and commercial marketing team, lock in National training sessions for key partners

  • Align with Commercial Marketing on key campaign timings to ensure staff are educated and aware and the necessary training has been aligned to support key initiatives

  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams on opportunities to incentivize and engage key stores or team members through product seeding and brand incentive programs

  • Create engaging tech tools and training aids with the support of Global and Brand running team

Health Professionals

  • Identify opportunities to connect the brand with key Health Professional bodies to build awareness of PUMA technical products and technologies

  • Establish a Health Professional purchase program to encourage product testing and trial

  • Support Sports Marketing with educating club medical staff and podiatrists

  • Share relevant tools and information with the Health Professional community

Brand Events

  • In alignment with the Brand Marketing and Sales teams identify opportunities to engage directly with running communities and run specialist account through wear test events and running groups

  • Ensure these are strategic partnerships that will drive sell in or sell through opportunities or influence within the running community

  • Provide run gait analysis for participants and provide product recommendations

Operational

  • Create monthly reports for key stakeholders on store visits, key findings, sell-through results, and opportunities

  • Budget tracking and invoice processing

  • Identify opportunities to innovate through automation, AI and digital integration to increase efficiency

  • Support the budget and forecasting process for brand marketing with local and global stakeholders

  • Work with Brand Marketing to place required seeding orders on time to support seasonal initiatives

  • Support the team with preparation and communication of relevant Digital Assets packs

  • Manage agency partners to deliver the best results and value for the brand
