Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Finance

  • 8-10 years of experience in the fashion, sportswear or casual sports lifestyle space, specifically in apparel and footwear 

  • People/team management experience  

  • Highly knowledgeable in the collab space 

  • Team player mentality: highly flexible and open minded, solution oriented 

  • Deep understanding of what streetwear and fashion consumers are looking for in the market; knowledge of the lifestyle market and high fashion trends; ability to translate those trends into relevant product briefs 

  • Is an effective presenter to internal and external audiences, key accounts, senior leadership, etc. Able to handle objections and deliver competent and convincing messages. Understands how to navigate internal department relationships. 

  • Consistently demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with professional maturity and discretion 

  • Owns daily tasks, seasonal timelines, sets priorities effectively, requires minimal supervision or direction; has the ability to anticipate and solve for future roadblocks as well as create solutions in real time 

  • Shows ownership and accountability; acts as a decision maker; results oriented approach. Demonstrates leadership in the team. 

  • Domestic & International travel required

The Hiring range base pay for this position is $99,200 - $163,700 + Bonus + Benefits

(Benefit Summary Corporate)

Your Mission

As Teamhead Product Line Management Sportstyle in the Ambassador Team based out of the Puma Studio LA, you will be responsible for leading and managing the ambassador product management team. You will oversee the strategy, development and execution of product across footwear, apparel and accessories in collaboration with our Puma Ambassadors and aligned with the business plan. Your role is crucial in driving an effective, visionary, and brand relevant product creation process that both pushes boundaries and achieves business/brand and partner goals. 

  • Develop the Ambassador product strategy in cooperation with Director of business development, taking into consideration the input of other relevant stakeholders within the brand (Sportstyle business unit, Marketing, Go To Market)  

  • Drive alignment of the ambassador team with stakeholders across multiple Business Units and categories to develop new footwear, apparel and accessories product concepts to bring the Ambassadors visions to life through the lens of Puma, balancing that vision with business requirements 

  • Ensure product plans are fulfilling business KPIs 

  • Oversee and drive the product creation process from brief to production in collaboration with Design and Development to ensure product calendar and GTM milestones are met.  

  • Anticipate roadblocks and create solutions with Design and Development teams throughout the product calendar to keep the process moving smoothly 

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the team across functions including design, product management and marketing.  

  • Facilitate alignment of footwear, apparel and accessories. 

  • Oversee and drive a timely flow of communication with external and internal partners for product feedback and sign off in a timely manner 

  • Represent Puma with confidence and professionalism both internally and ambassador-facing  

  • Work with suppliers and factory teams to identify and develop new product opportunities 

  • Accountable for accurate maintenance of all product documentation and reporting systems throughout the product lifecycle (GTM documents, product management systems, etc.)
