Your mission

  • Execute global logistics strategies, assigned projects and operational tasks
  • Create new ideas, processes or policies, including explore / implement proposals for process improvements with other internal/ external stakeholders
  • Supporting internal and customer-specific requests regarding import and escalation point on logistics issues, including guidance of sales subs and LSPs
  • Act as key interface between internal Global Logistics business owners, Sales subs and LSPs
  • Provide functional guidance and direction to others, including onboarding of (new) team members and others
  • Control / optimization of worldwide import deliveries for assigned destination region, including SOP & GSI creation & maintenance of Inbound for sales subs & LSP
  • Review and propose enhancement of current KPIs and their logic
  • Monthly KPI review with LSPs/ Sales subs and analyze the root cause of non-performance including improvement suggestions and drive performance.

Your talent

  • University degree in a relevant field of studies
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a multi-national company, preferably in the Logistics department
  • Experience in process improvement and optimization, with a strong business sense
  • Experience with logistics service providers (LSPs) and supply chain management
  • In-depth knowledge of global logistics processes and regulations
  • Fast process understanding with a strong business sense
  • Advanced command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in English
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and KPI management
  • Change Management mentality with the ability to manage and resolve complex logistics issues
  • Team player with a „can do” attitude and pragmatic approach.

Job Title: Senior Manager Imports

Location: Bengaluru

Position Summary

The Logistics Manager – Imports will be responsible for end-to-end management of import logistics operations for merchandise sourced globally. This role involves handling shipment planning, documentation, customs clearance, vendor coordination, and optimizing logistics costs and timelines to align with the company’s seasonal buying and launch schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Import Operations Management

  • Manage and oversee all import and export shipments of apparel, footwear, and accessories from international vendors.

  • Plan shipment schedules in coordination with the Buying and Merchandising teams to meet season launch timelines.

  • Liaise with freight forwarders, consolidators, and shipping lines for both sea and air shipments.

  • Track all shipments in transit and ensure timely clearance and delivery to central warehouses or distribution centers.

  • Manage logistics for time-sensitive collections, limited editions, and promotional launches.

  • Ensure 100% claim of FTA benefits

  • Work with buying team and factories to fonaluse and update HSN codes

2. Documentation & Customs Compliance

  • Prepare, verify, and maintain import documentation — including invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

  • Ensure smooth customs clearance by coordinating with Customs House Agents (CHAs) and compliance teams.

  • Monitor adherence to Indian import regulations, DGFT norms, and product-specific compliance (e.g., textile labeling, footwear standards, etc.).

  • Maintain updated records of import licenses, duty payments, and relevant certifications for audits.

3. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with global suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth inbound logistics.

  • Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shipping lines and logistics partners to optimize costs.

  • Work closely with the Finance team on import duty estimation, cost allocation, and payment reconciliations.

  • Collaborate with Quality and Warehouse teams to manage discrepancies, damage claims, or missing shipments.

4. Cost Control & Performance Optimization

  • Monitor, analyze, and control logistics costs including freight, duties, and demurrage.

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce landed cost while maintaining service quality.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs such as lead time adherence, customs clearance turnaround, and on-time warehouse delivery rates.

  • Generate regular management reports and cost analysis summaries.

5. Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to customs delays, documentation errors, or vendor non-compliance.

  • Stay updated with trade regulations, duty structures, and Free Trade Agreements impacting fashion imports.

  • Ensure all operations comply with internal audit standards and sustainability goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • On-time clearance and delivery of imports

  • Import logistics cost per CBM/unit

  • Meet global standard for capacity utilisation 

  • Reduction in demurrage and detention charges

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 7–10 years in import logistics, with at least 3 years in the fashion, apparel, or retail industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Indian customs laws, DGFT policies, and import/export procedures.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and logistics tracking tools.

  • Sound knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes, and bonded warehouse operations.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your mission

Position Summary: Own day-to-day inbound logistics execution from gate-in to dock-to-stock. Ensure accurate receiving, quality checks, GRN posting, labeling, and put-away in line with SOPs, safety, and TAT/accuracy SLAs.
Key Objectives:

  • Coordinate vehicle/dock scheduling with transport partners and security.
  • Supervise unloading; perform count & visual checks (damage, seal integrity, batch/lot, MRP, expiry/FEFO).
  • Raise shortage/damage and escalate discrepancies promptly.
  • Documentation & System Transactions
  • Verify and reconcile PO / ASN / Delivery Note / Invoice before posting.
  • Post GRN in WMS/ERP within SLA; capture variances and remarks.
  • Ensure items are labeled, palletized, and barcoded as per standards for put-away.
  • Put-Away & Inventory Control
  • Execute scan-based put-away to system-directed bins.
  • Support daily stock reconciliations and variance justifications.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits; coordinate with Finance for Goods Receipt support and document completeness.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Liaise with factory, sourcing, transporters, QA, PO, SAP, LEA and Planning, to resolve inbound issues.
  • Provide timely updates on delays, damages, and escalations to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Drive adherence to SOPs, safety, 5S, and compliance (company and regulatory).
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Publish daily inbound MIS: receipts vs plan, dock-to-stock time, GRN TAT, damages, and accuracy.
  • Suggest and support small kaizens in receiving, staging, and put-away to reduce TAT/costs and improve accuracy.

Qualifications and Functional Competencies:
  • Graduate / Postgraduate preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years in inbound warehouse operations (Retail/Lifestyle/FMCG/e-commerce preferred).
  • Hands-on with WMS/ERP (e.g., SAP EWM/Oracle/BlueYonder), handheld scanners.
  • MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Familiarity with documentation (PO/Invoice/ASN; basic GST/e-way bill awareness) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder coordination.
  • Problem-solving under time pressure; team player with a safety-first mindset.
  • Fast-paced warehouse environment; peak-season extended hours may occur.

Your mission

The Teamhead, Business Intelligence SEAO is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the regional BI vision to drive data-driven decision-making across the SEAO cluster. This role bridges business strategy and data analytics, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that power growth, operational efficiency, and commercial performance. The role encompasses full BI ownership—from data ingestion and engineering to advanced reporting and visualization—ensuring the organization becomes truly insight-led.

Task 1: BI Strategy Execution & Visualization Development

  • Lead the development of impactful, user-centric BI dashboards and reports using Power BI.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand key business questions and translate them into analytical deliverables.

  • Ensure reporting aligns with industry best practices in data storytelling, usability, and performance.

  • Conduct end-user training and change management to maximize BI adoption and engagement

Task 2: BI Project Leadership & Data Integration

IT Skills:

  • Professional in DAX (using DAX studio, Tabular Editor, Power BI)
