Your Mission

This position is a dual role where Purchasing & MDM will be split 60-40. Purchasing entails creating purchase orders to vendors, in terms of procurement, parking of invoices, intercompany & cross-channel stocks transfers.
MDM (Master Data Management) includes ensuring SAP vendor and customer  information is maintained, and create new codes where needed. This position includes maintaining prices (RRP & wholesale prices) in SAP.

Task 1: Place Purchase Orders based on Sales Orders, for each Order Placement Dates. Ensure POs are placed in a timely manner. Purchasing-related routine tasks e.g., Parking of invoices.

Task 2: Work with factories to track POs until they are ready for shipment to SEA countries. Perform and track intercompany transfers Inter & Intra-region. Actively use existing tools and encourage cross functional departments to adopt the same.

Task 3: Timely creation & amendment to vendor and customer codes when requests are submitted. Maintaining Recommended Retail Price and Wholesale prices when requests are submitted.

Task 4: MYPUMA.biz coordination and ensure customer data is maintained accurately. Troubleshoot and raise tickets to global team where necessary.

Task 5: Ensure proactive communication of issues to various departments and enable process improvements.

Your Mission

The key focus of this position is to manage the overall SEA inventory positions by leading the Purchasing process of Puma SEA, using an overall view of inbound, inventory transfer management between countries, and tracking Open-To-Buy utilisation. This position will liaise closely with Planning and Merchandising teams to ensure stocks arrive in accordance to launch dates and with Logistics teams on specific inbound requirements.

Task 1: Oversee the full order processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Manage stakeholder satisfaction and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with internal teams, logistics, order management team and vendors to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Task 2: Aware and flexible to each country’s requirements e.g MOQ, labels Monthly checking of open purchase orders against OTB. Work closely with Planning team to coordinate on short-term around purchases.

Task 3: Lead and mentor purchasing team to meet performance and order fulfilment targets. Work with factories to track POs until they are ready for shipment to SEA countries. Perform and track intercompany transfers Inter & Intra-region. Actively use existing tools and encourage cross functional departments to adopt the same.

Task 4: Track and analyse key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Manage special assignments as directed by management.

Supply Chain Footprint Expansion through New Hub (warehouse) Setup, implementation including automation Strategy Implementation

 

Project Background:

We partnered with a top consulting firm to resolve supply chain constraints and boost efficiency. Based on their suggestions, we’ve planned a new distribution hub in North India, near Delhi, with a focus on warehouse capacity, bin storage, expected throughput, and layout design. After completing RFQ and negotiations with multiple 3PL providers, we finalized a 3PL partner and warehouse location. The project also involves implementing complete warehouse including racking, storage, electrical and advanced automation and software systems (OMS, WMS, TMS, etc.) to streamline operations at the new hub. Now, we’re hiring an intern to lead the project’s implementation and go-live, by keeping everything on track with timelines and budgets.

 

Project Deliverables:

 

1. Project Implementation and Monitoring

Manage project execution, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.

Identify and resolve any roadblocks or delays in the project

 

2. Automation and System Integration

Oversee the setup and integration of automation equipment and collaborate with OEMs to establish OMS, WMS, TMS, and other essential systems.

 

3. Site Launch and Operational Smoothing

Support the go-live process, ensuring all systems are operational and the team is trained.

Establish operational frameworks and reporting structures for ongoing monitoring.

 

4. Cross team alignment

Set up of a new warehouse and transition, requires co-ordination with multiple stake holders (internal and external) , the incumbent will be required to co-ordinate with all stake holders across the company, 3PL and Developer to ensure that the transition can be done with high efficiency and no negative impact on sale

Your Talent

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Demand or Sales & Operations Planning, with expertise in statistical forecasting methods and tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.

Your Mission

Demand Planning:

  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach working with Sales, and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for financial and demand forecasts.
  • Create, maintain, and report on a monthly US unit forecast for both stock and custom clubs beginning with product families and breaking it down to the SKU level.
  • Responsible for loading the forecast into the ERP system; ensuring load completeness and accuracy.
  • Facilitate gap analysis between Demand Plan and Revenue Plan
  • Communicate forecast uploads and forecast changes to buyer planners.
  • Responsible for managing the Global Forecasting Process. Create/update forecast templates quarterly. Partner with other international markets to generate forecast for each region.
  • Provide Sourcing Team, and all teir 1 suppliers the global forecast within the first week of each month.
  • Provide input and direction to the Supply Planning and Sourcing organizations on inventory strategies for new product launches, existing items, and product phase-outs/End of Life Process.
  • Monitor and report on trends in forecast accuracy
  • Lead monthly demand review meetings with Sales, Finance, and Buyer Planners

Business Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze critical business results and provide key insights/observation on current state of business.
  • Publish Monthly KPI Analytics data. Creating regular reports and dashboards to communicate sales performance, identify improvement areas, and measure sales strategies' effectiveness.
  • Data Cleaning and Preparation: This involves filtering the data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Data Exploration and Analysis: Analysts use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.
  • Data Visualization: They create visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable.
  • Reporting: Data analysts prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders, which can influence policy and decision-making processes
  • Support other reporting as requested.
