Retail and/or FMCG industry experience preferred

Your Mission
We have a great opportunity to join the Finance team in the role of Senior Financial Accountant!
The focus of the Senior Retail Accountant is to manage retail related interfaces, ensure accurate and reliable accounting records, and support external and internal reporting relating to the Australian and New Zealand PUMA Retail businesses, including Ecommerce.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting
Management and hands-on responsibility for the following areas:
Preparation and management of month end reporting, including Retail entry files, retail reports & RBU reporting
PRISM/OMS reconciliations to SAP and batch error checking
Variable rent calculations and accruals
Processing promo recharges from stores/ecommerce
Preparation of annual audited sales certificates for stores
Administration of retail store leases and documentation
Processing retail store stock takes (SAP and PRISM)
Retail Projects
Support the business with ongoing Retail and Ecommerce projects
Process Improvement and Automation
Identify and manage opportunities to improve current retail finance processes and procedures using automation solutions
Internal Controls and Compliance
Ensure retail finance procedures are being correctly followed with adherence to global retail policies and procedures
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address audit requirements
Leadership
Manage and mentor Retail Accountant to assist in their growth and development
