2. Valid Drivers License
3. Proven experience in an area managerial role within the clothing retail industry
4. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
5. Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
6. Strong computer skills (advanced Excel and MS office). Need to be able to use retail POS and inventory management systems.
Your Mission
The Area Retail Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of store operations within the specific geographic area to ensure the achievement of all strategic business initiatives, goals and objectives. Manage the business profitability in alignment with the Brand Strategy and Vision. Build a strong team that delivers sales, profit results and ensures execution of all company programs and initiatives.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Achievement of Area Monthly & Annual Net Sales Target
Achievement of Conversion 15 % average for Area: FPS 10% and FOC 20%
Achievement of LP Audit Target & SVR Audits at 85%
Achievement of 100 % compliance in Finance
Achievement of Annual Shrinkage Target of -0.50% by Store & Area, through Inventory management and Controls
Achievement of Area Customer Service Experience Targets of 85% defined by Mystery Shopper Results
KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support, facilitate and implement the National Retail Strategy within the Area.
Manage, mentor, motivate and develop Area Retail Operations Team to optimize efficiency, staff retention and development in order to achieve Sales Targets. Manage Succession Planning in the Area through the identification of individuals with potential for development and growth.
Develop contingency plans to anticipate store requirements, market conditions and retail trading patterns.
Workforce planning and & HR Support, develop staffing schedules that align with budgetary considerations.
Provide support to store managers in HR-related matters, including recruitment, scheduling and discipline
Monitor sales to date and make appropriate adjustments for week, month, and season to ensure achievement of Sales Targets.
Develop and manage the implementation of business and budget plans.
Conduct regular store audits to monitor and measure the achievement of local and Global business goals and standards.
Manage Finance closely to ensure that stores are compliant, manage cash discrepancies and take necessary action when required , cash up sheets to balance monthly.
Drive the consistent practice and implementation of all company policies and procedures.
Manage Store Operations to ensure timeous execution and compliance of floor set guidelines, promotions, product presentation and visual standards in FPS Channel and FOC, staying up to date with initiatives and to be Agile when required.
Achieve successful Mystery Shop results through the development and training of managers and staff.
Maintain and grow knowledge of competitor product, activity, price points and marketing in order to initiate new and innovative proposals to grow Brand identity and sales.
Execute, manage and maintain all local statutory requirements to ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all team members and customers.
