Your Mission
DTC Merchandiser will play a crucial role in delivering sales, margin, and inventory targets for the Ecom and Full price business. The role provides support by analysing data formulating, and actioning seasonal strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include managing inventory, optimising pricing, planning product ranges, and ensuring timely purchasing.
- Weekly review of performance of Ecom and Full price and provide analysis in trade meetings.
- Identify and propose actions plans to the team to hit KPIs and deliver targets, to minimise risk and maximise opportunities.
- Manage the pricing strategy, markdown proposals and promotion plan, including Key sales periods, to deliver sales margin and inventory targets.
- Monitoring rebuy opportunities.
- Inventory management in alignment with targets, identifying the best channel to drive sell thru.
- Working with the Ecom Content team to ensure we have best in class website prioritising most relevant and revenue driving products and launches and identifying opportunities to drive sales.
- Working with store operations teams to ensure merchandising strategies are executed correctly and effectively.
- Seasonal analysis of performance to help with buying strategy and decisions, to aid in the building of a UK specific range.
- Together with the senior merchandiser and product team build the seasonal strategy.
- Assist in the formulation and management of the range plan with merchandiser and product team.
- Formulate buy plans and spend to align with seasonal forecast and strategy and reflects the best product mix to deliver the KPIs and represent the best of the brand.
- Ensure buy plan is within OTB set by senior merchandiser.
- Participate in monthly re-forecasts.
- Attend and assist with key planning meetings with product team and senior management.
- Ensure timely purchasing for Ecom and Full price channel, including creating size breaks for buys.
- Monitor intake to ensure ETAs are in line with product launches - working with purchasing team to identify risks on lateness.
- Establish collaborative working relationships within the team and across functions, including regional and wholesale counterparts.
- Deputise for the Senior Merchandiser in their absence.
