PUMA AND MANCHESTER CITY HOST THEIR FIRST EVER METAVERSE KIT LAUNCH ON ROBLOX TO UNVEIL THE NEW 2022/23 THIRD KIT

Global sports company PUMA has launched the 2022/23 Manchester City Third kit in their first ever Metaverse kit launch. The vibrant new kit was unveiled for the first time on Roblox giving players the opportunity to explore and interact with the new kit in the PUMA and the Land of Games experience. The new Third jersey revealed in the experience celebrates Manchester creativity with a Fizzy Light and Parisian Night Color palette featuring bold details inspired by the city’s street art.

The special Metaverse event features a Manchester City reskin of the current lobby and stadium in PUMA and the Land of Games and for a limited time only, the experience will feature the Manchester City Home and Third kits. The event will also bring new community-created merchandise, new in-experience, Layered Clothing items and updates to featured activities. As part of the launch, a portal will open between Man City’s Blue Moon experience on Roblox, giving visitors the chance to earn a free item by visiting both experiences.

Additionally, for the first two weeks of the launch, users who compete and win in Football Rush in PUMA and the Land of Games are able to redeem a free digital Manchester City Third kit jersey. All other visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the new digital Manchester City Third kit in the PUMA gear shop on Roblox at https://www.roblox.com/groups/14466783/Puma#!/store.

To further support the launch, PUMA will be hosting a YouTube tournament in Football Rush that will consist of approximately ten participants split into two. The tournament will take place following the kit launch event with the winners of the tournament receiving $10,000 USD to be used on Roblox.

PUMA AND NIKITA PARRIS OPEN NEW SPORTS COURT TO GIVE THE YOUTH OF TOXTETH ACCESS TO FACILITiES TO PLAY SAFE AND CHASE THEIR SPORTING DREAMS
PUMA hosted a special event which featured the opening of the facility, attended by family, friends, and local children from Nikita’s local leisure centre

The new sports court was unveiled by Nikita in a special launch event in Toxteth with her friends and family from the community. The event hosted a group of young girls and boys from the local leisure centre to meet their hero and play in a number of small sided games to celebrate the opening of the new facility. The new sports court will be open to all children in the local area giving everyone the chance to play.

 

Speaking at the opening of the Nikita Parris x PUMA Sports Court, Nikita Parris said, “I am so proud to be able to give back to my community. I grew up in the area and this sports court was the start of my football journey. I want to inspire a new generation of young girls and boys to try sports and to pursue their dreams of playing sport at the highest level. This is a place I felt safe as a child and now I want to provide a safe place for a new generation of children in the area.”

 

 

The project began when Nikita decided the time was right to refurbish the old facility where she started to play football as a young girl. The aim is to give a new generation the platform to enjoy playing sport.

PUMA and AC Milan take their partnership to new echelons, presenting a new streetwear collection inspired by the Milanese Paninari subculture.

With this new streetwear collection, PUMA and AC Milan deliver a personal, intimate look at the Club that was founded in 1899, by paying tribute to the cultural phenomenon of Paninari, a popular look that soon spread out of Milan and Italy and became a major influence on the 1980s fashion, creating a style that continues to be referenced by designers and fashionistas today - a further testament of Milan’s status as a trendsetting city and one of the fashion capitals of the world.

 

Alongside the apparel, the PUMA x AC Milan partnership offers up two versions of the PUMA RX-737 and PUMA Weekend sneakers, both stamped with a storied saying that erupted through the rafters of Milan’s San Siro stadium - “Solo Con Te,” which translates into English as “Only With You.”

This new collaboration arrives in support of PUMA’s Players’ Lounge, a collection that dives deep into PUMA’s archive to re-live football’s golden age of the ‘60s and ‘70s.

The new collection embraces the strategic direction undertaken by AC Milan and PUMA, with the two brands utilizing the style, fashion, and culture of Milan to develop performance and off-pitch fashionable products that tap into the unique Milanese style.
