PUMA AND NOAH DARE TO UNBARE WITH OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW COLLABORATION

Unclothed is the new status quo, as PUMA and Noah unveil the first part of their multi-seasonal collaboration.

Inspired by the earliest intersections of sport and stylein the 1970s, this first drop is built around the PUMA Star, a silhouette that Noah is proud to bring back for the first time.

The focus of the collection is Noah’s premium leather take on the PUMA Star, which will be available for the first time in a limited release. The Star is a re-issue of the 1970 PUMA Wimbledon, a classic court style that evokes PUMA’s influence and credibility in the world of tennis.

A departure from the ultra-technical clothing of today, the accompanying apparel leans heavily toward Noah'ssignature East Coastsports-prep aesthetic, which is best represented through itemslike the cotton twill painter cap and velour vest. Two crew sweaters are made from recycled French Terry, featuring a rugby-style collar with an adjustable drawstring waist. Featured throughout the collection, but best seen on the chest on the Raglan Longsleeve, Super PUMA graphics bring a sense of nostalgic fun to the partnership.

“Noah are true masters of the craft when it comes to reinterpreting classics. Working with the team to reimagine pieces from PUMA’s sporting archive has been a rare opportunity to create something fresh, a real creative synergy between the two brands – the same can be said for the campaign”, said Alexandra Weiland, Senior Head of Marketing, PUMA Sportstyle.

Directed by Brian Billow and photographed by Francesco Nazardo, the playful and irreverent visualsfollow a would-be streaker who finds himself clothed in front of a nude audience, as he interrupts a crucial moment in the comeback of a tennis superstar, causing a full-on tennis tantrum.

“We would like people to smile and remember that clothing and footwear choices should be fun”, said Noah co-founder, Brendon Babenzien.

Elevating style to an art form, PUMA x Noah season one collection is available starting July 1, 2023, from noahny.com, and selected retailers.

To commemorate the launch of the collaboration, Noah will host a special event at the brand’s SoHo flagship. Visitors will have the opportunity to face off against professional ping pong player Wally Green, who will be playing with the PUMA x Noah Star sneaker as his paddle, for a chance to win a limited edition, friends-and-family pair of the PUMA x Noah Star. The PUMA x Noah “Beat the Star” in-store event takes place on June 29, 2023, at 195 Mulberry St, New York.

In March 2023, PUMA and Noah quietly released three made-in-Japan PUMA Clydes, crafted in partnership with a Japanese tannery renowned for its expertise in suede leather. Global sports brand PUMA is releasing the latest season of its MMQ line, continuing to focus on elevating sportswear classics with new materials, designs, and cuts. Like the previous seasons, MMQ’s ethos of “Macht’s mit Qualität,” German for “Made with Quality,” are maintained as the essence of line.

The MMQ line is inspired by minimal Scandinavian design sensibilities, featuring expert craftsmanship and elevated construction. It seems a natural fit that the latest face of the campaign hails from the region himself, PUMA ambassador, coach, and former professional footballer for Arsenal and Sweden, Freddie Ljungberg. As a true craftsman of his profession and high-quality sportswear enthusiast, he embodies the core values of MMQ on and off the pitch.

PUMA TO LAUNCH THREE NEW MB.01 STYLES IN FEBRUARY
Latest drop to include collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products based on Adult Swim’s animated series “Rick and Morty”

In December, global sports company PUMA released LaMelo Ball’s first signature shoe with the brand, MB.01. The new silhouette marked PUMA’s latest signature shoe since entering back into the basketball category in 2018.

MB.01 was co-designed by LaMelo, incorporating his personal style throughout the shoe from bold color choices to intricate unique details. The three new silhouettes set to release in February include fresh bright colors with the same artistic outline of flames shooting down from the ankle collar and the word “Rare” stamped on the shoe’s rubber bottom. Officially licensed from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, a highlight of the new drop includes limited-edition shoes and apparel inspired by Adult Swim’s hit series, “Rick and Morty.”


The latest MB.01s will continue to feature PUMA’s performance technology including Nitro Foam throughout the midsole for superior responsiveness and comfort, full coverage non-slip rubber compound for enhanced durability and traction, and breathable monomesh for a supportive and ultra-lightweight feel. The 3D-printed disruptive upper construction completes the shoe’s sleek design.

MB.01 Buzz City, named after Charlotte, North Carolina, represents LaMelo launching his NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets. This all-over black shoe features sleek teal accents that pays homage to the NBA team that drafted LaMelo in 2020. In addition to MB.01 Buzz City, there will be five accompanying Buzz City apparel pieces including: the Melo Dime Jacket, Melo Dime Pants, One of One Hoodie, One of One Pants and the Melo Fade Short-Sleeved Tee. The collection will be available February 2 on PUMA.com, at PUMA stores and at select retailers worldwide.

 

LaMelo Ball is stepping into another dimension with the MB.01 Rick and Morty. PUMA teamed up with LaMelo’s favorite Adult Swim program to create an exclusive new collection, with designs inspired by Rick and Morty. Classic streetwear pieces and the MB.01 – LaMelo’s signature PUMA shoe – are reimagined with neon colors and custom graphics. The limited-edition collab will feature the MB.01 Rick and Morty sneakers and six apparel items including: the Rick Hoodie, Rick Pant, Rick and Morty Long-Sleeved Tee, Rick and Morty Short-Sleeved Tee, Slime Onesie and the Rick and Morty Short. The MB.01 Rick and Morty collection will be available February 18 on PUMA.com, at PUMA stores and at select retailers worldwide.

 

The MB.01, Grey & Red style features an all-over grey exterior adorned with red accents throughout the shoe’s design including the flames at the ankle collar. MB.01 will be available on PUMA.com and exclusively at Champs Sports and Eastbay starting February 18.

PUMA together with Ferrari embodies racing DNA with the launch of the ION Speed footwear
Global sports company PUMA together with Ferrari blend aerodynamics and velocity with the launch of the ION Speed. The footwear features a bold mix of high-performance materials with the shape of the design being inspired by the racing attitude of the SF90 Stradale.

Racing and Ferrari is natural fit from the track to the street. Since the foundation of the company in 1947 and their engagement in Formula 1 in 1950 velocity has always been a key element of the Italian brand´s DNA. Since decades Ferrari has been evolving their concept to translate speed and aerodynamics in the shape of their cars. PUMA’S ICONIC SUEDE UPDATES ITS SKIN, COURTESY OF MINECRAFT
If you love adventures and blocks, then your year will start off on the right foot (or shoe) – global sports brand PUMA and the popular video game Minecraft have come together to create an exciting drop, launching on February 5.

The PUMA x Minecraft streetwear collection features apparel and footwear for adventurers and explorers of all ages. References to beloved (and some feared) Minecraft mobs are featured on tees, hoodies, pants, and PUMA’s most iconic shoe – the Suede. The apparel features a sleek color palette of white, grey, and black, and is adorned with colorfullogos and characters. One highlight is the Minecraft ocelot, which is posed to replicate PUMA’s original jumping cat.

PUMA’s timeless style, the Suede, features a pixelated green, blue, and brown suede upper inspired by the plains – one of Minecraft’s most characteristic biomes, a double formstrip with printed graphics, co-branded tongue label, and additional branding on the heel. DJ SNAKE CREATES A LIMITED RUN OF PUMA’S MIRAGE SPORT UNDER HIS ‘PARDON MY FRENCH’ BRAND
Global sports brand PUMA and French DJ and record producer, DJ Snake, have designed a limited run of Mirage Sport under his ‘Pardon My French’ brand which will be available globally in early February.

The PUMA Mirage has been brought from the Archive and revamped with a new perspective on street style, this latest colorway designed by DJ Snake has an elevated and cleaner look, mainly due to its muted colorway.

“I’ve liked every single colorway we’ve released of the Mirage; they’ve been perfect for me because they matched the lights and energy of my shows, but I’m obsessed with an all-white sneaker,” said DJ Snake when asked about the design process with PUMA. “I am really excited of the outcome, it’s so minimal and exactly what I was looking for.”

The white premium leather upper is contrasted with suede overlays, a decorative lace runs across the side with a toggle at the back. The translucent outsole reveals the “Pardon My French” logo on the bottom of the sneaker, which can also be found on the tongue and footbed.

The limited run of the PUMA x DJ Snake Mirage will be available starting February 5th in PUMA Stores, PUMA.com, and select retailers worldwide.

PUMA AND PRONOUNCE DEBUT TECHY NEW SILHOUETTES TOGETHER
Global sports company PUMA and designer brand PRONOUNCE are partnering together again for a sophomore collection of eye catching designs.

This season of PUMA x PRONOUNCE, titled “Progressive Line,” is exploring the world of commuting through the use of technical silhouettes made for urban territories. The collection features a futuristic and progressive design language, visible through technical and premium materials, interesting trim executions, and a bold color story and graphics.

The apparel is the highlight of this drop, using multiple fabric and detail executions. Design accents like towel jacquard, metal, and graphics in a puff print offer a bold look. The matching Toweling Polo and Long Shorts offer a standout look with a unique graphic pattern embossed on the fabric. The collared Women’s Jacket re-interprets a denim jacket in a monochrome tech look, made with a chromatic RainCELL material to protect against the elements. The Men’s Windbreaker also uses RainCELL, arriving in monotone black and grey options with a hood and branded Spanish buckles on the front. Further apparel includes graphic tees, hoodies, and half zips.

Along with a backpack and bucket hat, a futuristic Triangle Portable Cross Body Bag rounds out the accessories offering in a silver metallic effect print with a coin pouch, adjustable webbing shoulder straps, and co-branded PUMA x PRONOUNCE embroidery on the front panel. Gear up, Gotham City. The PUMA x Batman limited-edition collection will be available February 26, from global sports company PUMA, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC. The collection is inspired by the new Warner Bros. Pictures film “The Batman,” releasing in theaters internationally beginning March 2 and in the US on March 4.

The grittiness of Gotham City and the heroics of Batman stand out in this new PUMA collection by drawing inspiration from the highly anticipated new film. The full collection merges culture with sport, bringing Batman, the Batmobile, and Bat emblem to life across various footwear styles, accessories, and apparel products. The collection captures the essence of the film through moody colors, dramatic design elements, and Batsuit-inspired cut lines and Batman graphics.

The PUMA x Batman collection features apparel, including hoodies, T-shirts, T7 track suits, shorts, leggings, hats, and more. THE BAT MEETS THE CAT AS PUMA UNVEILS THE BATMAN FUTURE Z
As a tribute to the must-see movie of the year, PUMA has added a new chapter to the dark knight saga by unveiling The Batman FUTURE Z special edition football boot in honor of the caped crusader.

The new FUTURE Z is the ultimate dark knight on pitch and will take center stage on the feet of Neymar Jr. when PSG face St Etienne on the 26th February and once again in the Ligue 1 fixture against Nice on March 6th.

PUMA and Modibodi® present range of period underwear for women
Sports company PUMA and global leak-proof apparel company Modibodi® have teamed up to launch a range of leak-free period underwear and activewear, created to help women stay comfortable and active during their period whilst making a positive environmental impact.

PUMA together with Modibodi believes that everybody who wants to participate in exercise or sport should be given the opportunity to stay active and play, fueling the motivation behind PUMA x Modibodi’s exclusive global partnership under the “She Moves Us” platform.

“Even in the 21st century, periods and leaks still prevent women from participating in sports. Studies have revealed that girls’ participation in sport drops from 69% (ages 11-12) to 45% (ages 13-15)*. Additionally, the single-use plastic from disposable products can continue to pollute the environment for hundreds of years,” said Erin Longin, Global Director Run/Train at PUMA. “As a global brand, we felt it important to do our part to address this issue. The PUMA x Modibodi collaboration allows women to stay active, without having to worry about leaks, while reducing their monthly waste from period products."

Disposable products pollute the environment and are more expensive long term than their reusable, sustainable counterparts. The PUMA x Modibodi collection is designed to be reused and replaces the need for disposable pads, liners and tampons, whilst ensuring women can stay extremely comfortable, odor free and protected from all leaks (not just periods). Modibodi’s proprietary Modifier Technology™ achieves this through its soft top layer, made of merino wool, which wicks moisture and sweat, a quick-drying absorbent microfibre middle layer, that locks away fluid and odor, and an additional waterproof protection in the bottom layer.
