You’ll lead high performing buying team, influence cross functional stakeholders, and drive decisions that directly impact sales, margin, inventory, and brand equity.

This is a role for a leader who thrives in pace, complexity, and ambiguity and knows how to turn insight into action. Equally, somebody who loves a challenge!

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Market-Leading Merchandising Strategy
Define what great looks like and deliver it consistently.

You will lead the creation and execution of a future-forward merchandising strategy across Retail and eCommerce, shaped by deep consumer understanding, market dynamics, and brand ambition.

  • Translate trends, data, and consumer insight into compelling assortments that win in-market

  • Drive pricing, ranging, and buying strategies to exceed sales and margin targets

  • Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to deliver impactful Go-To-Market plans

  • Elevate brand positioning through product storytelling and segmentation

Trading, Performance & Commercial Excellence
Relentlessly optimise. Constantly outperform.

You’ll own the trading heartbeat of the business, leading decisions that maximise sell-through, manage inventory, and protect profitability across channels.

  • Drive weekly and monthly trading cadences across Retail and eCommerce

  • Lead critical decisions on promotions, markdowns, re-buys, and stock flow

  • Own channel performance across Outlet, and eCommerce environments

  • Deliver against key metrics including stock turn, margin, discount levels, and EBIT

  • Balance brand elevation with commercial outcomes - every season, every channel!

Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence
Build teams. Align stakeholders. Drive momentum.

This role requires a leader who can inspire teams and influence across the business, both locally and regionally.

  • Lead and develop Buying teams to deliver high-performance outcomes. Experience with allocations teams also if preferable.

  • Partner with regional and global merchandising teams to align product vision and execution

  • Build strong collaboration across Sales, Retail, Marketing, and Operations

  • Champion a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Clear metrics. Real impact. Measurable growth.

You will be accountable for delivering against critical business drivers:

  • Net Sales growth across Retail and eCommerce

  • Gross Margin expansion and profitability

  • Strong franchise and category performance

  • Sustainable inventory health and stock efficiency

Your talent

WHO YOU ARE
Commercially sharp. Creatively driven. Built for leadership.

You’re a merchandising leader who combines analytical rigour with instinct, and strategy with execution.

  • Deep expertise across retail and eCommerce merchandising.

  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in complex environments

  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and margin outcomes

  • Passion for product, consumer trends, and the sportswear or fashion landscape

  • Entrepreneurial mindset - constantly looking for new ways to unlock growth

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills

WHY THIS ROLE?
Because opportunities like this don’t come often.

This is your chance to:

  • Shape the merchandising direction of a global brand in a high-growth region

  • Lead with real influence across strategy, product, and performance

  • Make decisions that directly impact business outcomes and brand trajectory

  • Build, scale, and elevate a team in a business that values pace, innovation, and ambition
