What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a results-driven finance professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • CPA/CA Qualification with at least five years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or a similar role (Retail/FMCG industry experience is a plus).
  • Big 4 experience or exposure to multinational environments is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, AASB), tax legislation, and ASIC requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • A strategic mindset with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A resilient and adaptable approach, thriving in a fast-paced business environment.

We are seeking a Senior Manager Financial Reporting to take ownership of financial reporting and compliance across our operations in Australia and New Zealand. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insight of our financial operations. Your Impact

As the Senior Manager Financial Reporting, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of PUMA Oceania. Your leadership and expertise will help drive efficiency, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial insights. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Control & Reporting – Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with IFRS, AASB, and internal policies. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement & Automation – Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting processes, systems, and workflows. Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Leadership & Team Development – Manage and mentor the financial controlling team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide training and professional development opportunities.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance – Establish and maintain strong internal controls. Collaborate with auditors and ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
