Your Talent

  • Minimum 4-Year College/University Degree in Apparel Design.
  • 5 Days per week and/or a minimum of 28-32 hours per week for a 6-month commitment.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop), Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong drawing, rendering, and presentation skills.
  • A strong eye for detail and refinement.
  • Excellent organizational skills couple with a pro-active, team-based personality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages at the same time.
  • Show self-motivation, maturity, drive and the desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Ability to take direction and be proactive in assisting team members.
  • Show effective project time management.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Acquire and share knowledge/skills.

Your Mission

  • Assist in preparing for seasonal design review presentations.
  • Work with design team to create and maintain development tech packs.
  • Participate in product fit sessions.
  • Communicate and participate professionally and effectively within a cross functional team.
  • Manage design data base with apparel team.
  • Assist with CAD’s and cross seasonal CAD edits and revisions.
  • Manage and update design data base and systems preparation for visual line plans.
  • Attend weekly cross functional team meetings.
  • Work closely with the apparel design team to develop the seasonal and carryover ranges.
  • Design technical sketching.
  • Ensure that all products follow Puma international design, brand, and quality standards. 
  • Conduct market research for competitor, best practices, consumer, and price studies, and most importantly trend research.
