Your Talent
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent studied in Photoshop, Illustrator and File maker Pro.
Professional: Minimum 5 years in Visual Merchandising or Concept/VM roles within retail, with regional exposure preferred. Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, retail store layouts, customer flow, and product storytelling.
Industry: Sports or fashion industry.
IT Skills: Familiar with Print Design; Good proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PPT, Excel, and Word.
Language Skills: English is essential.
Your Mission
The Concept/VM Specialist for PUMA SEA will be responsible for driving the execution of Visual Merchandising (VM) strategies across multiple Southeast Asian markets. This role involves developing and managing the RESEC calendar, key VM initiatives, guidelines, and promotions. The specialist will work in close coordination with country VM teams and collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and retail operations teams to ensure alignment across all visual touchpoints.
Task 1: RESEC Calendar & Execution
- Develop and maintain the regional RESEC (Retail Execution) calendar to ensure timely and effective rollouts of VM initiatives.
- Plan, manage, and execute key store initiatives, window displays, and in-store activations in collaboration with the regional VM team and local market teams.
- Coordinate with local country VMs to ensure global guidelines are adapted and executed to align with the local market needs.
Task 2: Visual Merchandising Strategy
- Lead the planning and development of VM guidelines, from concept to execution, for all retail and wholesale environments across the SEA region.
- Collaborate with the global team to ensure the visual merchandising strategies align with brand standards while being locally relevant.
- Create visually compelling product presentations to maximize customer engagement and sales.
Task 3: Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the merchandising teams across SEA to ensure product launches are supported by strong visual stories.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate promotions, campaigns, and brand messaging into VM initiatives.
- Liaise with retail operations to ensure seamless execution of VM plans, providing support in troubleshooting challenges faced by stores.
Task 4: Creative Asset Development
- Develop and design visual assets, including window concepts, in-store graphics, POS materials, and other collateral using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage creative assets in collaboration with external vendors, agencies, and production teams to ensure high-quality execution.
- Oversee the production and delivery of VM materials to stores, ensuring timely distribution and adherence to guidelines.
Task 5: Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key point of contact between the regional office and country VMs, ensuring consistent communication and alignment of priorities.
- Regularly coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., country managers, retail leads, marketing heads) to gather feedback and refine VM strategies.
- Provide training and support to VM teams across the SEA region to ensure consistency and quality in visual merchandising standards.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and report on the performance of VM initiatives, assessing their impact on brand perception, customer engagement, and sales.
- Analyze store performance data to optimize future VM strategies and improve execution.
- Develop post-execution reports with key learnings and recommendations to improve future initiatives.
7. Innovation & Trend Analysis
- Stay ahead of visual merchandising and retail trends, incorporating best practices and new technologies to keep PUMA’s visual presentations fresh and innovative.
- Lead regional workshops and brainstorming sessions to drive creative VM ideas that cater to the evolving consumer base.
