Your Talent
Education: University degree, or similar education in business with marketing and sales focus
Professional: 3 years of work experience in a similar position in Sales, in Sport, Lifestyle or FMCG industry.
Knowledge of El Corte Inglés and previous experience in the account (At least as Store Manager level)
Analytical skills to understand the business and identify key drivers and opportunities
Knowledge and management of Retail KPIs
Dynamic, energetic individual with passion for the PUMA brand
Fluent written and spoken English
Advanced computer skills in the Microsoft Office (EXCEL is a MUST) product family, SAP knowledge will be a plus
Your Mission
The job function of the area manager is to manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of their Store and Concessions by directing all operational aspects of each store and driving sales whilst minimizing costs.
He/She ensures the excellence at the points of sales and Store. To achieve this, He/She must guarantee that the brand is represented in accordance with the company's strategies for each campaign and ensure that all customer service initiatives are in place, dealing with possible issues quickly and courteously.
He/She visits the points of sales and Store of Iberia on a regular basis to ensure compliance in all areas of customer service and store operations.
He/She is responsible of the supervision, coordination and monitorization of the Point of Sales Supervisors team and Store Manager.
He/She is responsible of ensuring that all team members keep the Store and point of Sales to the highest possible standards, being well organized and properly always merchandised; and that all policies, procedures, and controls are followed. This will also include stock control to ensure that stock loss is in line with the company's guidelines to protect its goods and resources.
He/She makes sure that the Point of Sales Supervisors and Store Manager are properly trained. He /She will be expected to train, challenge, motivate, encourage, and provide constructive guidance to the team related to all areas of effective operations. Also, He/She will carry out recruitment processes when needed and will guide and assist his/her team members in this task.
He/She must lead and coordinate the process of each seasonal change, providing the necessary tools to the teams so the teams are prepared at all levels (product, customer service, visual, marketing key initiatives...)
He/She is setting of sales and operational goals and expectations and then ensuring that those goals and expectations are achieved through regular monitoring (KPI’s). This goes as far as overseeing the performance management of the entire store management team to achieve the desired results in supporting the business.
He/She has an in-depth understanding of the market so that they can maintain competitive awareness by continuously monitoring the competition and then reacting accordingly to maintain the business advantage.
