PUMA KING PLATINUM LAZERTOUCH OFFERS NEW LEVELS OF CONTROL

Sports company PUMA has introduced a new cutting-edge technology for football boots, which enhances the control properties of K-leather. PUMA KING PLATINUM LAZERTOUCH

The patented new Lazertouch technology is exclusive to PUMA and allows for a variety of specially crafted textures and graphics to be embossed onto the upper material of the boot. The technology developed in Germany, uses lasers to engrave detailed performance augmented patterns and textures to a mold, before it is fused together with the K-leather, enhancing the material’s existing control properties.

“The PUMA KING is synonymous with craftmanship and premium materials for ultimate ball control. The performance enhancing Lazertouch technology applied to key strike zones elevates the touch of every on-pitch maestro to a whole new level,” said Dominique Gathier, Head of Product Line Management Teamsport at PUMA. “This is just the first application of Lazertouch in our football footwear, and we are exploring further opportunities across our range of boot silos.”

The locked-in fit is refined with a knitted tongue and the ultra-modern slim silhouette combined with the super lightweight ‘RAPIDSPRINT’ outsole makes it the fastest and lightest PUMA KING ever.

PUMA CELEBRATES MANCHESTER CULTURE WITH THE NEW CITY HOME KIT, INSPIRED BY THE MOSAICS OF MANCHESTER
Sports company PUMA has unveiled the new Manchester City Home kit for the 2020/21 season to be worn by the men’s, women’s and youth teams. The Home jersey’s pattern is inspired by the iconic mosaics located in the creative hub of Manchester’s Northern Quarter and pays homage to a city brimming with football and creativity.

Art, industry, football, music, fashion, noise, and color are Manchester’s DNA and the mosaics displayed in the city are a celebration of this diverse culture. Mosaics have also been an important part of Manchester City’s history, stretching back almost 100 years to when the original City mosaic first adorned the gates of the Maine Road Stadium. Today, the mosaic tradition continues with many club legends being immortalized as mosaic artworks at the City Football Academy, inspiring the next generation of players.

Mark Kennedy, the artist behind the mosaics of Manchester’s Northern Quarter as well as the player artworks at the City Football Academy said, “When I began my journey as an artist, the Northern Quarter was a derelict area that I looked at and wanted to build up. I began creating Manchester icons using ceramic plates and tiles, integrating my own artistic style. My family and I have always been huge City fans, so I created artwork of the players too. Over time I was commissioned to create artwork for the club and the city of Manchester, so I feel very privileged to see PUMA use my art as inspiration for the new City Home jersey.”

The new Manchester City Home jersey features the mosaic pattern in classic City blue and white, with navy trim. The kit is completed with white shorts and light blue socks. The Home kit will be available from July 16th at PUMA.com, ManCity.com and at select retailers worldwide.

The new Home kit will debut in Manchester City’s FA Cup semi-final match against Arsenal on Saturday 18th July.

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is at the heart of the city, it offers a glimpse into the Milanese soul, complementing the city’s past with a modern approach to design. The Galleria is Italy’s oldest shopping mall, housed in a four-story double arcade in the center of Milan and is named in honor of the first King of Italy.
