Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
- Relevant experience in communications within the consumer goods and/or sports and lifestyle industry
- Demonstrates strong writing, editing, communication, and organization skills
- Highly creative and innovative thinker with a proactive, resourceful, and adaptable approach to challenges
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deliverables and timelines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global/matrix organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok)
- Passion, experience and familiarity with the sporting goods, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods space
- Position is based in Somerville, MA
Your Mission
Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated PR and Marketing Communications Temp to work out of our Somerville, MA office. The PR and Marketing Communications Temp will be part of the dynamic PUMA North America (PNA) communications team, which is responsible for PR, Paid Media and Social efforts for the region.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Director, Marketing Communications and other key team members and stakeholders across the broader PNA Marketing teams to help develop and execute impactful PR and communications strategies and plans for the North America business.
Additionally, you will provide day-to-day support across various communications initiatives, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Assist with creating, editing and developing PR materials and documents
- Support the development and creation of PowerPoint presentations in alignment with brand guidelines
- Manage product seeding initiatives including execution, tracking for coverage, maintaining current contact lists, etc.
- Support with day-to-day media inquiries including sample and photo requests
- Work with the external agency partner to monitor, analyze and communicate results
- Maintain the communications calendar, SharePoint site, media lists and additional key team documents
- Assist in management of PR budget
- Provide support on key Paid Media and Social initiatives as needed
- Remain current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to PR, media, and influencer marketing.
