Qualification & Functional Competencies:

•              Education: fully qualified attorney at law in Poland

•              Experience: 3-4 years of relevant work experience as an Attorney at Law in a reputed  multinational organization (preferably in the consumer goods industry) inhouse or multinational law firm

•              Working knowledge of laws, regulations, financial compliance

•              Knowledge and understanding of corporate, labor and civil law

•              Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards

•              Excellent persuasive communication skills

•              Excellent English legal drafting skills

Information clause of Puma Polska Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością regarding the processing of candidates' personal data

In accordance with Article 13 (1) and (2) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: ‘GDPR’), we inform you that:

1.           The controller of the candidate's personal data is PUMA Polska spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Burakowska 14, 01-066  Warsaw.

2.           In matters related to the protection of personal data, including the exercise of one's rights, the candidate may contact the Controller via e-mail: dane-osobowe.pl@puma.com, by phone at: (22) 233 04 40 or in writing to the above-mentioned address.

3.           The candidate's personal data is processed for the purpose of the recruitment process. If the candidate has given their consent, the candidate's personal data is also processed for the purpose of future recruitment processes.

4.           The legal basis for the processing of the candidate's personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR with regard to activities aimed at concluding a contract, and with regard to future recruitment - the candidate's consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

5.           The Controller processes the personal data of the candidate for the purpose of recruitment for the position indicated in the advertisement until the end of the recruitment process, and, if the candidate has agreed to participate in future recruitments, for 12 months. The aforementioned periods of data processing may be extended if their processing is necessary to establish and pursue potential claims or defend against claims, and after this time only if and to the extent required by law.

6.           The Controller may engage external service providers (e.g. IT service providers, intermediaries in the publication of job advertisements) to process personal data on its behalf.

7.           The candidate has the right to request access to their personal data, to rectify it, to delete it, to limit its processing, and to transfer it. The candidate has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, to object to the processing of data and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal. For evidentiary purposes, the Controller asks for consent to be withdrawn in writing to the address of the Company's registered office or by email to dane-osobowe.pl@puma.com.

8.           The data provided by the candidate will not be subject to profiling.

9.           The provision of personal data by the candidate is voluntary, but necessary for the recruitment process. Failure to provide data will result in the inability to consider the candidate in the recruitment process.

Your Mission

As Legal Counsel and Compliance Manager you will play a key role in safeguarding the company legal interests while ensuring we meet all regulatory and ethical standards. You will work closely with senior management and various departments to provide compliance guidance and lead legal agenda.

Key Objectives:

  • Draft, assess, analyze, negotiate, revise contracts and agreements
  • Ensure compliant corporate housekeeping
  • Give accurate and timely legal advice to internal stakeholders
  • Find ethical solutions to legal matters
  • Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor and data protection matters
  • Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Liaise with external parties (law firms, regulators, public authorities)
  • Secure legal monitoring
  • Develop, implement and monitor internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct compliance training and awareness programs across organization
  • Lead internal investigations and manage reporting obligations
  • Support other Eastern Europe Area countries in business decision making process and implementation of Group guidelines
  • Coordinate cooperation with external law firms across Eastern Europe Area
  • Oversee legal housekeeping in other Eastern Europe Area countries
