Your Talent

  • Degree in Textiles, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in fabric development, sourcing, and technical material innovation.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of woven and knit fabrics, including performance testing and costing.
  • Familiarity with Vietnam’s supplier landscape and global material trends.
  • Fluent in English; Vietnamese language skills a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PLM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and flexibly across global time zones.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to manage details and drive execution.

Your Mission

  • Lead our fabric development and Tier 2 supplier management efforts in Vietnam. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, sustainability, and performance across a diverse range of apparel products. You will lead a team of material developers and collaborate globally to deliver high-quality, high-performance solutions for athletes
  • Brings deep expertise in textile engineering and material development, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is comfortable working independently across time zones and cultures. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on technical capability, strategic thinking, and people leadership
  • Lead the development and sourcing of innovative, sustainable fabrics that meet global performance and compliance standards. Provide technical guidance on fabric construction, performance attributes, testing protocols, and application across product categories
  • Manage and mentor a team of material professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Oversee Tier 2 supplier relationships, driving quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Champion cost and value engineering initiatives to optimize material performance, reduce complexity, and enhance product value. Identify and implement process simplification opportunities to improve speed, efficiency, and alignment across global teams
  • Maintain and evolve a supplier matrix based on capabilities, capacity, and innovation potential. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, R&D, sourcing, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of materials into product creation
  • Drive the development of top-tier performance products by aligning material innovation with athlete needs and brand standards. Operate with agility and independence, managing priorities across global schedules and stakeholders
  • Balance strategic oversight with attention to day-to-day execution, ensuring both long-term vision and operational excellence
  • Advanced material development strategies and global sourcing alignment. Cutting-edge sustainability practices in textile innovation and lifecycle management. Value engineering and cost optimization techniques for performance apparel.
  • Leadership in a cross-cultural, global team environment. Agile ways of working and change management in a fast-paced setting. Strategic thinking and operational execution in a complex global matrix
