Your Talent
- Bachelor degree in Textile / Fashion Clothing related discipline
- Minimum 8 years working experience in garment, preferably in the sportswear industry
- High proficiency in English, and/or Mandarin would be considered a plus
- Proficiency in Excel is necessary
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, focus on details and proactive problem solving ability. Able to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team on assigned tasks. Independent, self-motivated, responsible, detail-minded, well-organized
- Good understanding and knowledge of apparel components and product costing
Your Mission
- To perform all the key product development activities ensuring adherence to the company calendar, outstanding sample quality and competitive pricing
- Work to build up team capabilities in terms of communication, product knowledge and operating system to perform given responsibilities by the company. Develop team spirit with the supplier to develop their capabilities in line with the Puma brand requirements
- Communicate/comment/interact with product creation team and suppliers on problems regarding sample development and future bulk production. Coordinate and monitor all activities regarding development, approval and communication of all fabric, trimming and accessory suppliers. Ensure on time product finalization and approval prior to bulk order placement
- Drive proactive cross functional communication with internal and external stakeholders to achieve efficient and effective product development process. Manage and execute time and action plans and ensure on time delivery of samples in good execution, quality and fit
- Develop assigned styles in cooperation with designers, internal teams and suppliers
- Work closely with team and lead as a leader to bring out expected company is looking for
- Responsible for cost review and negotiation to meet target FOB prices and profit margins
- Assist to work out margin strategic plan with top manager
