Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile or Garment Technology (or equivalent education)
  • 5–8 years of experience in the textile or apparel industry, preferably in sourcing, merchandising, or production
  • Strong understanding of fabric development, materials, chemical treatments, and textile machinery
  • Deep knowledge of market trends and the sports industry, especially in sports technology
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Lotus Notes, and Internet tools
  • Solid knowledge of laboratory testing, sustainability, and performance materials
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Chinese is an advantage
  • Highly innovative, detail-oriented, and a team player with strong communication skills

Your Mission

  • Follow up on all Material Developments and approvals
  • Liaise with overseas material team for fabric approvals & also for discussing any technical issues. Review colors as per requirements & liaise with suppliers on approvals & technical discussions
  • Collect approved quality swatches & distribution according to the calendar. Follows through seasonal sampling requirements as per development calendar.
  • Recommend substitute/better fabrics, wherever possible in order to have better product at better prices
  • Research new trends & work with key suppliers to get seasonal collections. Maintain Library for new collections, seasonal hangers & for approved swatches
  • Proactive approach in foreseeing any technical issues related to material & suggesting technical solutions to overcome that
  • Follows through with suppliers/garment vendors ensuring bulk fabric deliveries. Initiate seasonal bookings & capacity planning
  • Work on minimums with suppliers as per company’s requirements. Ensure bulk fabric quality meets requirements by reviewing inspection/testing reports from suppliers
  • Review prices with Fabric Suppliers in line with seasonal targets
