Your Talent
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance & accounting / certified public accountant/ chartered accountant
Professional: 8–10 years of experience across FP&A, controllership, and commercial finance, ideally within the retail or FMCG industry with regional exposure.
IT Skills: SAP, Hyperion, Excellent MS-office, Power BI
Language Skills: English
Your Mission
This is a regional role responsible for coordination among various country finance heads.
Task 1: Financial Consolidation, Analysis & Insights
- Consolidated month-end closing results for SEA & Oceania, delivering analytical reviews and insightful commentary for regional and global stakeholders.
- Conducted deep dives into significant variances by collaborating with country finance teams and providing actionable explanations to Global Finance.
- Monitored KPIs against budget, escalated deviations, and tracked country-level action plans.
- Handled spontaneous inquiries from Global with fast turnaround time.
Task 2: Reporting Standardization & Process Improvement
- Standardized reporting structures, templates, and commentary to enhance clarity and consistency.
- Identified gaps in reporting processes and led initiatives to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
- Leveraged Hyperion HFM and other reporting tools to support and troubleshoot for country teams.
Task 3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning
- Designed budget and forecast templates, consolidated submissions and prepared executive presentations for senior leadership.
- Developed and implemented a centralized rolling forecast process to provide timely, consistent updates to Global.
- Played a key role in designing the FP&A operating model in line with the shift to a centralized planning structure.
Task 4. Regional Governance & Cross-functional Leadership
- Took ownership of regional and cross-functional finance projects to ensure timely execution and strategic alignment.
- Designed and established a controllership organization to strengthen financial governance and accountability.
- Acted as the key liaison between local finance teams and Global HQ.
