- Previous relevant experience in a supply/planning and purchasing environment or a similar role, Strong understanding of supply chain and purchase order process.
- Must be numerate, logical, and accurate with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems, experience with SAP environment a plus but not essential.
- Knowledge and confidence of Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams, Advanced Excel – VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, power queries etc
- Experience in planning and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
Your mission
- Execution of the Purchase Plan
- Monthly buy meetings
- Ensure all Po’s meet the launch plan deadlines
- All confirmed shipping info is updated on the PO information
- Liaising with custom teams on component stock availability
- Updating component availability file with the latest delivery dates
- Progress any orders we cannot fulfil
- Stock adjustments actioned weekly
- Analysis of component ratios and trends
- Updating the European Forecasts via the tracking tool
- Daily tracking of order received and delivered
- Monitoring the on-hold orders
- Supporting the European customer service teams
- Liaising with the build centre on custom queries
- Shaft and Grip matrix updated yearly
