Your mission

Purpose & Overall Relevance

  • This role plays an instrumental part in the way the brand is portrayed and leveraged in association with HYROX partnership within the China market and ensures on a day-to-day basis that we continue to raise the awareness and image of PUMA as a leading brand in Elite Performance.
  • He/she will be the key person to drive business for all HYROX licensed merchandise and return on investment, esp. in DTC and gym channel.
  • Key driver and implementer of the global HYROX plans into local level.
  • To optimize and leverage the relationship between PUMA and local gyms/athletes, and furthermore implement the mutually agreed local & global strategy, driving return on investment and delivering towards the brands position as “HYROX official”.
  • Creation and implementation of a mutually agreed local strategic partner plan (following global plan) that forms the guiding principle for how PUMA manages, leverages and commercializes the association, ultimately delivering against agreed KPI’s (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Drive and coordinate the process towards optimizing the activation and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Performance category lead, on annual planning of HYROX on:
    • related projects esp. in gym/DTC,
    • SPOMA assets (athletes, gyms) management,

with effectively manage and implement relevant budgets.

  • Work with team to ensure full alignment with all relevant functions on both global and local level including but not limited to: local entities and sales forces, and all other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper implementation of the HYROX Partnership Strategy in the local market and use of contractual entitlements with strong focus on consumer activation and topics (i.e. CRM, digital / social media etc).
  • Constant tracking and analysis of HYROX business as well as local trend in cross-fit market.

Your mission

  • Drive the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market (gtm) calendar for Sportstyle Select and Collab Apparel collections for the China sportswear market
  • Develop Apparel collections and marketing strategies for assigned product lines with special focus on Street-Sportswear & External Partnership Collections in alignment with the Global Business Unit Strategy and PUMA China market strategy

  • Collaborate in planning the whole sell-in support (catalogue etc.).

Your talent

  • University degree in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of international apparel experience in a similar position with a top tier international sports company, high-end streetwear or premium brands, preferably in collaborations
  • Very good knowledge and passion for product, consumer trends especially for collabs and premium distribution in China
  • Very strong analytical skills, overall business orientation
  • Very good verbal and written language skills in Mandarin and English

Assistant Manager Product Testing and Laboratory Management Footwear

Your mission

Product Testing – Fit & Wear (Execution Under Functional Governance) - 50%

  • Ensure clear understanding and implementation on latest official guidelines related to Fit & Wear product testing across T1 supplier-based product test centers (PTC) on methodologies, standards, and guidance defined by the Asia Product Testing Manager.
  • Drive and monitor the setup, standardization, and operational rollout of the T1 PTC Fit & Wear Testing centers, ensuring consistent execution among all test centers in China. 
  • Train, coach, and support Factory Product Testing teams to correctly apply PUMA testing standards, evaluation criteria, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure testing execution, feedback, and judgment calls from T1 Testing teams follow PUMA guidelines and are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate and support seasonal fit and wear testing from Development, Engineering to Production stages to ensure high report accuracy. 
  • Participate in product review meetings to identify potential risks at early stages and launch necessary testing to support corrective actions.
  • Conduct training for T1 Supplier Test Analysts on fit and wear reporting system tools and feedback questionnaires.
  • Analyze and report consumer feedback data from China market to Asia Product Testing Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of testing execution, reports, evaluations, and data analysis from T1 PTCs.
  • Support and organize translation of internal technical documents and SOPs to Chinese Language.
  • Provide regular reporting to PUMA Asia Product Testing Manager on execution status, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Laboratory Management (Execution Under Functional Governance) – 50%

  • Ensure clear understanding and implementation of the latest official guidelines related to T1 Laboratory Management across T1 suppliers based on methodologies, standards and guidance defined by the PUMA Laboratory Manager.
  • Support PUMA Development, Manufacturing Operations and Quality Assurance teams on product testing requests.
  • Support PUMA T1 Laboratory audits to ensure compliance according to PUMA guidelines and follow up on implementation of corrective actions with a timely and sustainable closure.
  • Evaluate laboratory processes, testing methods, equipment calibration, safety compliance, documentation, and personnel competence, maintain records and follow up on progress.
  • Organize and support product test trials for internal standards and method upgrade.
  • Conduct training for T1 Laboratories where necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure laboratories maintain accurate, traceable, and audit‑ready records in line with PUMA requirements.
  • Support and organize translation of internal technical documents and SOPs to Chinese Language.
  • Provide regular reporting to PUMA Laboratory Manager on execution status, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Your talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Material Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in product testing (Fit & Wear) and/or laboratory management, ideally in an international footwear brand sourcing or supplier-based environment.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, high learning agility, open minded, good interpersonal skills, Passionate. Patient. Collaborator.
  • Good at Windows, Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English.
