Your mission

Responsible for all line, including Select/ Special Make up / Rapid Response Design creation for Key Accounts, Puma Retail, and Outlet or any account when required
Understand the region’s trends and market direction to ensure all products designed for the regions are brand relevant
Prepare trend boards, material, and trim boards
Design ranges and products, which complement the international collection while satisfying the needs of the region, considering the elements that affect the region (Men’s, Women’s and Children’s)
Be accountable for achieving all tasks of the Vertical Development Calendar within the given timelines
Work closely with Teamhead of design, Product Line Manager, Development team and China merchant team to create and execute innovative apparel design/collection based on Global creative direction.
Gain market insight by visiting the markets, fashion fairs, concept stores, etc. as required
Travel to the factories to work on the development of the product and ensure that quick response timelines are met.

Your talent

University degree in Design and/or relevant field of study
At least 5-8 years of work experience of designing for one or more leading fashion/lifestyle/sports brand, ideally in the fashion, athletic/apparel industry
Versatile designer who has experience designing products across men’s, women’s and children’s products.
Professional experience working in team environment, ability to function autonomously as well as in a cooperative, diverse group
Professional working experience with 3D Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
Tremendous attention to detail and extraordinary time-management skills
Key account concept and end-consumer understanding within the Chinese market
Vertical mindset
Strategic and creative thinking, strong initiative, passionate about product
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English.

Your mission

Develop assigned fabrics in cooperation with Material manager and Respective BU.
Costing initiatives. Align with global material costing direction and push for better calculation for RCC.
Eyes on quality. Understand Puma standard and work closely with Technical Team for consistent quality output.
Process improvements ie shorter lead time initiative.
Provide calendar support, monitor deadline. Monitor vendor performance.

Your talent

Bachelor of dyeing or textile.
5 years working experience in fabric or textile related, trim experience will be a plus. Understand development process.
Knowledge of fabric, colors and testing standards GB/ISO/AATCC.
Learning attitude, self-motivated individual.
Communication skills, ability to connect with different stake holder internal and external.
Good command of English reading, writing and speaking.

Your mission

Manage sealing and size set approval for fit, measurement and workmanship within the development and OPD calendar time frame.
Manage Final Measurement chart approval before bulk production.
Review “development at source” Technical Packs for accuracy & completeness prior to their distribution
Provide feedback on Technical pack accuracy / completeness & enhancements to product developers
Prepare sample evaluation data on a seasonal basis
Provide technical support to Product development teams during the on-site meetings with factories
Create FE resizing mc for assigned ranges
Travel periodically to FE factories to review their progress on sampling performance
Carry out assignments at the discretion of the Technical Manager.

Your talent

Graduate in Textiles/Clothing or Technical Institute is preferable
3 – 8 years relevant experience major in Active wear or Performance Sportswear, focusing on Knit items and all types of jackets (seam-seal, laminated, down, padded)
Paper pattern background is a must and knowledge on CAD is an advantage
Good communication skill in English and Putonghua, both to customer and factory local people
Hand-on computer knowledge
Willing to travel
Computer skill – MS office and Lotus Notes
Good communication skills in English are required

Your mission

Ensure on time sample delivery, good sample quality / execution / fitting.
Drive proactive cross functional communication with internal and external teams to ensure a smooth product development process.
Provide inputs / comments / suggestions which help to achieve a higher product value.
Ensure on-time product finalization and approval (including artwork approvals) prior to bulk order placement.
Responsible to prepare, maintain and follow up all necessary documents (Style specifications, size tables, fabric and trim selection, fitting and sealing comments).
Ensure on time data administration in Puma’s Product Range Management system and related IT systems.
Responsible for cost review and negotiations with Garment Suppliers to achieve best possible FOB /margins.
Activate cost benchmarking activities especially for high volume styles to achieve FOB competitiveness.

Your talent

Excellent verbal and written English communication language skills
Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
Adaptable to a dynamic environment

PC literate (Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and Internet)
Team player with strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
