Your mission

  • Drive the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market (gtm) calendar for Sportstyle Select and Collab Apparel collections for the China sportswear market
  • Develop Apparel collections and marketing strategies for assigned product lines with special focus on Street-Sportswear & External Partnership Collections in alignment with the Global Business Unit Strategy and PUMA China market strategy
  • Cooperate with Merchandising, Design and Development (PUMA Group Sourcing) to ensure that the final collection is reflecting market needs
  • Work closely with Business Unit, footwear, apparel and accessories teams to ensure concept and product coordination across all product segments
  • Prepare market and competitor studies on an international level and specific for the Chinese market as well as analyze forecasts and sales analyses
  • Present the product lines to international partners and key accounts
  • Ensure maintenance of key product information in relevant data systems and documents
  • Check the final Free on Board-prices considering given target margins
  • Collaborate in planning the whole sell-in support (catalogue etc.).

Your talent

  • University degree in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of international apparel experience in a similar position with a top tier international sports company, high-end streetwear or premium brands, preferably in collaborations
  • Very good knowledge and passion for product, consumer trends especially for collabs and premium distribution in China
  • Very strong analytical skills, overall business orientation
  • Very good verbal and written language skills in Mandarin and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office environment (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Initiative, energy, passion, eye for details, confident and looking for daily challenges in an international environment
  • Teamplayer mentality.

Your mission

  • Responsibility for Special Make up / Rapid Response Design creation for Key Accounts, Puma Retail, Outlet or any quick response program when required
  • Understand the region’s trends and market direction to ensure all products designed for the regions are brand relevant
  • Prepare trend boards, material and trim boards
  • Design ranges and products, which complement the International collection while satisfying the needs of the region, considering the elements that affect the region (Men’s, Women’s and Children’s)
  • Be accountable for achieving all tasks of the Vertical Development Calendar within the given time lines
  • Gain market insight by visiting the markets, fashion fairs, concept stores, etc. as required
  • Travel to the factories to work on the development of the product and ensure that quick response timelines are met.

Your talent

  • University degree in Design and/or relevant field of study
  • At least 5 years of work experience of designing for one or more leading fashion/lifestyle/sports brand, ideally in the fashion, athletic/apparel industry
  • Versatile designer who has experience designing products across men’s, women’s and children’s products. Strong graphic skill is preferred.
  • Professional experience working in team environment, ability to function autonomously as well as in a cooperative, diverse group
  • Professional working experience with 3D Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Tremendous attention to detail and extraordinary time-management skills
  • Key account concept and end-consumer understanding within the Chinese market
  • Vertical mindset
  • Strategic and creative thinking, strong initiative, passionate about product
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Your mission

  • Responsible for managing the footwear product development process by supporting the respective Business Units and directly interact with supply partners to provide an effective transition of footwear designs from prototyping into production. Handle development projects with the guidance and support of the Team Leader Development.
  • Receive Tech packages and prepare/review with factory to prepare samples.
  • Communicate all product, shipping, tracking, material ideas and issues between factory and overseas team.
  • Key support on tracking reports and shipping documents.
  • Build and guide tech system confirmation specs with factory creation.
  • Ensure all confirmed tech packages are accurate and on schedule to support C&E teams and timeline.
  • Meet and influence product quality to meet highest standard during each phase of sampling.
