Shine brighter than ever in the all-new Crystal Galaxy capsule when it drops on PUMA.com, PUMA stores and select retailers on February 10th.
Disposable products pollute the environment and are more expensive long term than their reusable, sustainable counterparts. The PUMA x Modibodi collection is designed to be reused and replaces the need for disposable pads, liners and tampons, whilst ensuring women can stay extremely comfortable, odor free and protected from all leaks (not just periods). Modibodi’s proprietary Modifier Technology™ achieves this through its soft top layer, made of merino wool, which wicks moisture and sweat, a quick-drying absorbent microfibre middle layer, that locks away fluid and odor, and an additional waterproof protection in the bottom layer.
“No woman should have to sit on the sidelines of life because they have their period or bladder leaks,” said Kristy Chong, CEO and Founder, Modibodi. “We are thrilled to launch this collection with PUMA and together normalize menstruation and tackle the stigma that women can't be active on their periods or when experiencing any of life’s leaks.”
As part of the launch, PUMA and Modibodi will work with PUMA’s She Moves Us charity partner, Women Win, to donate a bundle pack of five briefs to 500 girls and women in need. This five-pack bundle covers a person for their monthly cycle and will last for up to four years to allow the person to confidently participate in sport and life without life’s leaks getting in the way.
The first PUMA x Modibodi active underwear collection will be available in May 2022 in selected stores and online at puma.com and modibodi.com.

"Working with PUMA to craft the first women’s signature basketball sneaker in the last 12 years was an honor,” said Breanna Stewart. “I hope that this is the first in a legacy of signature sneakers to come for women athletes across all sports and serves as inspiration for all young people that this, along with any achievement, is possible.”
The Stewie 1 provides multi-zoned monomesh layers for targeted support, breathability and comfort along with NITRO Foam technology for superior responsiveness and cushioning while remaining lightweight, and a Molded Heel Counter for additional stability and lockdown marked with scars to represent Stewie’s two Achilles surgeries.
“Throughout her career, Breanna has always been a champion for athletes both on and off the court,” said Adam Petrick Chief Brand Officer at PUMA. “A signature sneaker was long overdue, and our team at PUMA has been proud to work with her to see this come to life. Just as importantly, we are excited to see athletes of all ages, backgrounds and genders wearing The Stewie 1 as a reminder that equal representation and access is a must in sports.”
An apparel pack consisting of nine items will also launch in tandem with the Stewie 1, inclusive of the Stewie Packable Jacket, Stewie Packable Snap Pant, Stewie Sports Bra, Stewie Shorts, Stewie Crewneck, Stewie Legging, Stewie Graphic Tee, AOP Graphic Tee, and Stewie Jersey. Stewie’s first product collaboration with PUMA – an apparel capsule titled Overdue – was unveiled in October 2021 as a teaser for what’s to come. The performance packed kick is unmatched on all fronts. The project began when Nikita decided the time was right to refurbish the old facility where she started to play football as a young girl. The aim is to give a new generation the platform to enjoy playing sport.
PUMA Athlete Jodie Williams says: “I think it’s important for female athletes to share their stories and be as open as we can to help destigmatise the challenges of menstruating whilst competing. This is a global issue and one that will take us all speaking out to break down the taboo. The PUMA x Modibodi Period Pep Talks are an awesome way to connect with girls who are considering dropping out of sport and help to normalise menstruation. We need to tackle the stigma that women can't be active on their periods or when experiencing any of life’s leaks.”
PUMA Athlete Naomi Schiff says: “It is such a shame that the stigma around periods has and continues to hold girls back when it comes to sport. The PUMA x Modibodi collaboration not only brings innovation to the activewear market but it gives us girls and women wearable options that make it easier to be active at any point during a cycle. It also opens up the opportunity for a bigger change in the cultural conversation around the perceptions of periods in sport.”
The PUMA x Modibodi activewear collection is available in selected stores and online at modibodi.com and puma.com.

The PUMA Thrifted Pack will be available starting December 16th with a retail price ranging from 110 to 120 Euros from PUMA.com, PUMA stores, and selected retailers worldwide.
