Your Talent

  • Advanced knowledge of Buying groups in the UK & knowledge of the Specialist Running Sector is preferable
  • Technical product knowledge in Running is preferable
  • UK Sports market with a minimum 2 yers experience in the Running Category is preferable
  • Direct competition product knowledge across the Running Industry
  • Thorough knowledge on accounts in the Specialist Running sector preferably across the UK & Ireland
  • Detailed GTM Plans, highlighting Sales, Marketing, Door Count, Units, etc…
  • How to present product effectively, with all features and benefits.
  • PC skills that include a high standard on, Power Point, and Excel.
  • Experience in handling Senior Key Accounts, with Multiple doors or E Commerce business platforms.
  • Good knowledge of retail math’s
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Good verbal communication
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Pro active approach with high energy, drive and determination

Your Mission

  • To achieve set sales targets on an annual basis
  • Time interfacing with buyers, via set product presentations, marketing meetings, order book management, and developing strong long term customer relationships.
  • Forecasting on a regular basis to enable budgets and profitability is achieved by the team.
  • Supporting the seasonal Key Initiatives and implementing them within the Key Account plans.
  • Up to date in depth knowledge on all accounts responsible for
  • To possess at all times an up-to-date knowledge of the market/industry, i.e. key figures for accounts responsible for, and know/understand our competitors
  • To achieve distribution & growth in line with DC segmentation
  • Management of the customer order book, to ensure product is delivered within the ordered month.
  • Hit all reporting deadlines on time.
  • Liaise with all functions within PUMA, ensuring effective internal communication
    -: Customer service team, ensuring high service levels
    -: Credit/Finance team, to ensure speedy resolution of any payment issues within the guidelines set.
  • To continually analyse sales and margin performance versus target, and to take appropriate action to remedy any gaps.
  • To work close with marketing department to ensure effective coop marketing activity.
  • To continually analyse customer sell through, and effectively use to PUMA’s advantage.
  • To help promote and positively develop PUMA’s image at all times. 
  • To understand and operate within PUMA’s policies and procedures
