Your talent

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business administration or another relevant field (minors in finance or analytics is a plus)
  • 2-4 years of experience in eCommerce, Category Management, Digital Merchandising or Analytics and BI
  • Previous experience in P&L management roles, with a particular focus on financial analysis
  • Commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to effectively prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead multiple stakeholders in complex cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical skills – you have experience working with excel (PowerBI, SQL and similar tools knowledge can be a plus)
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently while dealing with ambiguity
  • Previous experience D2C / online marketplaces is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of the sports and fashion industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English, fluency in German or another European language is beneficial.

Your mission

  • Be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of several PUMA Categories within the eCommerce direct-to-consumer business in Europe
  • Own and become an expert of your categories and fully understand the key drivers that impact your P&L to reach financial targets.
  • Create and execute a strategy to improve main KPIs including but not limited to Sales, Profitability, Product Conversion and Sell Through Rate.
  • Closely cooperate within your “Category Squad” consisting of Merchandising, Buying Consumer Experience and Marketing to analyze the performance, identify opportunities and derive actions.
  • Maximize your categories’ revenue and profitability optimizing product placements & discoverability on PUMA.com
  • Participate in complex multi-stakeholders projects in areas including but not limited to pricing, merchandising, revenue optimization, content management and planning
  • Partner up with Merchandising & Buying to provide product insights, requirements, and feedback for the seasonal buy
  • Conduct analysis to assess the competitive landscape, industry trends and other growth opportunities
  • Critically review existing structures and ways of working to drive efficiency and process improvements.
